Father worried about getting lost despite being reassured the chalets are set around a circlular road. It was drizzly and cloudy but still truly beautiful. With spring coming on there were wildflowers. Our chalet was very private. From each large window all we could see were trees and birds. Unfortunately only one cold night to light the fire. We brought...

I loved the privacy of each rustic cabin, the wide verandahs that have bbqs, and the views over the paddock, the trees the waterhole and the bush, where we watched the kangaroos, ducks, kookaburras, parrots and more. Each cabin is surrounded by a native garden that looks like natural Ballandean bush. There are mapped walks on the property, that my...

If you're looking for a romantic escape look no further, this is the place. The location is amazing it's a short drive to many local wineries, cheese makers and gourmet chocolate. We did not go on any of the bush walks because we were so content lazing around by the fireplace, watching movies, jumping in the spa and sampling the...

Thank you Kelly for the memorable few days we spent in our cabin in January. What an awesome property. The cabins are in the woods, completely private. Comfortably furnished with everything you need. We completed most of the hikes on the property and can highly recommend them. Abundant wildlife and glorious pool to end the walk. Kelly has an abundance...

Wonderful individual cabins in country setting. Rooms a very large. Includes kitchette area and small living room area. And a porch. Early morning can see decades of kangaroos feeding on the pasture grass. Numerous trails around the area.

Awesome accommodation , stayed with my family and from the start kelly made us feel very welcome. The chalet was excellent very comfortable. Highly recommended the walk to the cathedral arch. Really like the fact that there was no tv or wifi . The children loved watching the kangaroos. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Great place to unwind for a couple of days. Accommodation and host are very family friendly (kids pool, games available, bunk beds, etc) which was appreciated. No wifi nor mobile network but it is good to turn the mobile phone off once in a while. Place will also suit a couple without kids who wants to enjoy a little bit...

Affordable luxury is what you find at Girraween Environmental Lodge. Great for families. A great place to rest and get away from the rat race. No mobile service is a blessing in disguise. It was lovely to have 4 days without interruption. Awesome chalets. The pool and spa were fantastic. Wildlife. Great weather. And space to relax and unwind

We've just returned from a 3 night stay and were thrilled with the quality of the accommodation, the very helpful manager, Kelly, and the very convenient location 5 minutes drive from Girraween National Park. Everyone needs to know about this super high quality lodge ( there are 9 two bedroom lodges spread amongst the trees ) situated on 400 acres....

Our bushwalking group arranged for a mid-week two-night stay at Girraween Environmental Lodge. We were impressed by the attractive bush setting, the simple but comfortable but accommodation which included two bedrooms, large bathroom with shower and spa bath, kitchen with basic equipment, lounge room with fireplace, covered deck and covered carport. There are short walks on the property where you...
