Lashing's Boutique Hotel is where you go if you want to get a way from it all. It's not an all inclusive but it's the ideal location if you just want to relax and enough the atmosphere with a few friends and have a few drinks especially during happy hour where all alcoholic beverages are 2 for 1 specials (Latoya Car Crash is amazing). My favorite part of Lashing's are the pool areas where you can enjoy yourself for hours splashing in the pool and having drinks and food delivered poolside. If you want beach access, they will accommodate you by driving you to their secondary location Lashing's Beach Club. The hotel offers something for everyone especially if you want to experience local ecotourism. Every room has its own unique aesthetic. Only thing I wish I was able to enjoy there that wasn't offered was football, cricket or other recreational sports played at the BREDS Complex from the comfort of my room or pool area.…
We had a great experience at Lashings Boutique Hotel , the staff were professional and friendly .the food was amazing , very clean place . Even though Jamaica 🇯🇲 had a lockdown we felt at home . We didn’t want to leave when it was time to check out . We highly recommend this hotel . Whenever I’m in Jamaica I will surly visit it again . 7stars 😂 .. home away from home ... it’s so relaxing and peaceful to stay at the resort .
Staying at Jake's, we ordered a car with a child seat to come and pick us up and take us to Lashings for dinner -- a free service they offer. Driver shows up with a car seat, which was good. But he wasn't wearing his seat belt (he "hates them," he explained with a laugh) so there was this annoying, insistent beeping. I managed to talk him into putting it on, which was a bit of a juggling act considering how much texting he was doing and all the phone calls he was making. It's a five minute drive and he must have taken two lengthy calls and sent five texts. A very swervey, nerve-wracking experience overall. At Lashings, it should be noted that the food itself is quite good. Everything else is pretty bizarrely bad. They offered us a choice of tables -- either in the art gallery area or the bar area. We chose the art gallery area because of the noise of the bar. This was at sunset, and what they failed to mention was that once the sun went down you would be eating your food in more or less pitch blackness. Seriously, if seeing your food as you eat it is at all a priority of yours, you might inform your server, as this is not a concept they are familiar with whatsoever. I say more or less because there IS one light. It's in the pool area, and it's absolutely blinding, even from the deck below. So, yeah, you're staring into that if you're on the wrong side of the table. Server spilled a sticky drink all over table and then came back with a few dry napkins so we could clean it up ourselves. All in all, an amazing set up -- what a great property! what good food! -- with a lot of potential... that is obviously utterly mismanaged.…
So it’s a hide out location I’ve been in tourism for years I don’t know if that’s why I’m more irritated how Jamaicans treat Jamaicans. .Lack of customer service, the staff are not on the same level with information it’s always a different answer to the same question. Roach running around you have to set to kill them, the ac is leaking on the balcony so they set the flowers pot to catch the water when it can’t hold it runs on the ground If they fixed all the problems it will be a great place, fixed the road to get to the hotel. Barely have customer service except for the house keeper who checked on our room Saturday morning and the waitress who set up the birthday dinner. Food & beverage- it’s not an all inclusive hotel which is fine because it’s your choice but they don’t even have two price list the prices are so high for a dish or beverage, you can’t put down your food or drinks by your ready for it it’s filled with ants I guess the ants paid for it. Entertainment- if you try to entertain yourself security is on your back about noise, you better make sure you don’t get a joke because you can’t even laugh too hard. Rooms- It’s ok no television so you better walk with that, the only think you pay for it’s the ac and to sleep. The bathrooms are unacceptable, there is no shower or bathtub so therefore whenever your showering the water runs into the bedroom, and keep in mind that there isn’t a mop or towel there to wipe away excess water. The sheets did not feel clean at all. Front- They have no customer service at all the line staff and the supervisor they have different information. Based on the treatment that I received it seems as if they are more respectful towards ‘foreigners’ rather than their own. I have been spoken down to as if I’m a child or as if I was begging a nights stay.…
We are not the guests that usually write bad reviews but this place is so over hyped it has to come down to earth. The hotel is lovely but the customer service and food is terrible. It all started from check in, my husband had emailed before to let them know is our anniversary, they said they will decorate the room and give us a complimentary dessert with it. When we arrived in the evening our room wa not ready and we of course thought it was because they was getting it ready for us with the decoration and dessert. 20 min after when we get access to the room, there is nothing insideand not even apology for the delay. She never apologize even when my husband remember her about the anniversary and the promise of the decoration. For dinner, the restaurant was so unorganized, my husband ordered pizza and specifically asked the waiter how the pizza was done as he is Italian and said if it's thin and nothing special please tell me and I choose something else. The waiter said is their best choice and the pizza was uneatable. Dough made of patty dough, like a butter bottom crust. Anyhow the worst experience was with the girls from the bar. I asked to order a drink and one was sleeping at the bar and the other told me go up and order, I said sorry but this is not the bar? Yes but you have to go up and order if you want rum. Sorry what type of customer service are you teaching your staff? I look at her and said who's job is this? Mine or yours that you are also 2 at the bar and it's nothing to do. She woke up her sleeping colleague and went up for the order. For breakfast the next morning we order food and said we will be eating by our room. The waiter left the food on the table by the pool and shouted is ready, we was in the shower and said can you please bring it to our table as we are with the towels. She just turn around and left. The omelet is a joke, dry and nothing inside. Honestly I had so much expectations of this beautiful place until I understood how poor management it is. With a beautiful place like that is such a shame you don't train your staff properly. We live in Jamaica and will not be returning there as the staff spoiled our much needed relaxation for 3 days. Shame... Is so strange that you have a fridge in the room but is FORBIDDEN to consume food or drink not purchased on property. Also strange that when you go in, you have Beautiful art that is completely ruined from to super huge picture of the owner. Really megalomaniac. We of course went to eat outside for the rest of our stay as the restaurant staff was one of the worse we experienced in Jamaica. Treasure beach luckily has plenty good restaurants where to go.…
