My stay at Bouyouti was excellent from start to finish. The road to Bouyouti, and to my room was both easy to navigate and picturesque. I was in the Panoramic House - the room itself was incredibly comfortable, with a seating area, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a private terrace. It was the perfect oasis for a weekend getaway. As it was a cold and rainy night, someone from the staff kindly lit the fireplace, and gave me his number to ensure I could contact him if I needed any further help with anything. The fireplace was a super cozy addition, but the heating system in the room worked so well, I would have been fine even without it. Regrettably, the restaurant was closed during my stay, but the staff made several recommendations for places I could go eat at nearby, and for places that would deliver food directly to my room (which I ended up doing, out of desire to stay in and enjoy the sights from the couch!). The breakfast they provided in the morning (straight to my door!) was delicious, generous, and filled with a lovely selection of local, fresh dishes and flavors. At the end of the day, Bouyouti offers an exceptional experience, where lush greenery surrounds you from all angles. I had a view of the mountains that was just breathtaking, away from traffic, noise pollution, and from the stress of work. I also want to give a big shoutout to the staff. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. I asked them dozens of questions leading up to my visit, and during my time there at all hours of the day, and they were so patient and comprehensive in their answers each time. My little tip would be to bring along a nice bottle of wine, some snacks, and maybe a board game to really round out the experience (although our room also had a backgammon board, which came in really handy), and to definitely take the time to drive around the area, and explore the surroundings. Not to miss!!…
Bouyouti was a wonderful experience all together. From the Scenery to the staff to the food...we really had an amazing time...it is highly recommended as a getaway from the stress of everyday life. Loved it!
Amazing stay all around. The road to bouyouti is beautiful and very easy to get to. Inside the domain, the stone road downhill to the houses is beautiful. We arrived at check in and everything was ready and very clean. We booked the mountain top house which was a bit far from the restaurant, we knew that and were very fine with it but on arrival we were told we got upgraded to a beautiful wooden valley house right in the middle of bouyouti. The house was amazing, very rustic, cozy and well made. The little decorations inside are beautiful, with big windows all around to see the beautiful scenery outside. With an outdoor place to sit at the entrance. I also want to emphasize the cleanliness of this place. The very nice lady informed us about everything we needed to know and was very kind, welcoming and professional as everyone we’ve met there, reception was incredibly helpful in every way. They helped start a fire in the traditional wood burner, they asked us what time we wanna have our breakfast delivered to the house and were very punctual. I can’t say enough about the breakfast, it’s delicious and fresh and adds to the overall beautiful experience there. We tried the cat and mouth food prepared by the in house restaurant and it was insane how good it was. The staff helped us with everything, we were lucky because it was their last day before they closed for the rest of winter. Their signature truffle pasta is to die for. Management were very understanding because I had an issue with my booking and had to postpone it by a day. I thank them again! Overall this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had in Lebanon or outside. It’s places like these that are true gems in our country. I’d stay there again without a doubt.…
Following my 2 nights stay at Bouyouti 16/9-17/9 I would like to bring to your attention that my stay was not as expected and for the most of it unfortunately it was not pleasant. The first night as you are aware the electricity problem, caused by a factor out of your control, cut the power at 1:20am. The AC in my room exploded and I was unable to reach any of the staff at the premises over the phone or even when I went out and looked all over the place to find someone who can help me or at least assure me that I was safe. I stayed up all night until I could reach one of the staff members not before 7:30am. While I do appreciate you reaching out and explaining the situation and sending me coffee I could not make sense of not being able to find anyone to talk to for more than 6 hours. On another hand, the staff that welcomed us asked us how we would like our eggs in the morning, we asked for boiled and sunny side up but they said we can only have it one way. Since we are 2 people and our reservation is for 2 I expect to have 2 portions as per liking of each guest. The second day no one asked us about breakfast and we had to call and ask for it. Then we asked for coffee but the staff member who delivered the breakfast said he will deliver all the breakfasts then get us coffee which he didn’t even after waiting for 2 hours. That said, I totally understand that you don’t have room service since it’s not a hotel but I expect, after checking the image reflected online of Bouyouti, the least which is be safe and be attended to in case of emergency. On another note, while sharing this experience with a friend, I learned that she had experienced the same problem when she stayed at Bouyouti 10 days before me, she had to wait for 2 hours at the gate at midnight since her access card was not working and she couldn’t find any one to help. And last I would like to share with you that my reservation initially was for 6 nights and was paid fully upfront. I came the first night but had an emergency and had to leave. I asked the reservation team to reschedule the remaining 5 nights but they only rescheduled 2 nights out of 5 and I totally understand because it was high season and on short notice bearing in mind that even though I accepted the deal, my stay was not what I was looking forward to.…
Bouyouti is my favorite place in Lebanon wether it comes to spending the night there or visiting the restaurant. Highly recommend it, amazing scenery, friendly staff and attention to detail. The glasshouse- indoor restaurant is a must in winter
Where to start! The scenery is nice, but that’s the only positive. $260 a night. My husband couldn’t fit into the bathroom. All the rooms were uncomfortable with cheap furniture. There was mold and bugs. The restaurant (separate management, which means you can’t put orders on the room) is a scam, with double the prices of other restaurants in the area. They charged us the equivalent of $6 for a bucket of ice, and served spoiled meat claiming it was “American black angus”. Booked for 2 nights and stayed for only one, with Bouyouti maintaining a non-refund policy. They completely under delivered on every promise.
One if the most beautiful and luxurious destinations in Lebanon If you’re looking for an unforgettable vacation with your beloved one or friends, this is the place to be. Awesome location in the heart of nature, relaxation to the max, tasty food and lovely staff. Don’t miss it !
I had the chance to visit this beautiful place in the heart of Chouf and my experience worth every penny spent. Very Charming place especially for nature lovers who seek a gateway and quiet place to chill. The breakfast was extremely yummy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would Definitely recommend it and revisit again !
A lovely peaceful escape for lovers of nature. Good for privacy but not alone! The small ‘traditional’ houses are well designed, comfortable and clean with large windows to feel connected with nature. The staff was very polite and discreet. On our arrival we were advised to grab a drink at sunset in the bar, which we did and was perfect. We then had dinner outdoors in the lovely restaurant. The food was good. The salads were crispy, fresh and generous! We were offered a big, delicious breakfast the next morning. We visited the small St.Charbel church, alembic and the bridge with the manager Nassim who escorted us and gave us detailed explanation about the whole place. The pool was lovely with excellent relaxing music in the background. We took drinks in the pool!!! Will sure come again!!!…
Amazing setting Beautiful individual homes (old Lebanese architecture) Cats are everywhere Peaceful and super calm, the perfect getaway Extremely good food (Caterer Cat & Mouth) Worth every penny and would go again
