We enjoyed our stay at Rockvilla Guesthouse. Wendy and Peter were helpful and made our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Our room overlooked the Loch and although the Guesthouse is on the main road - it was very quiet and peaceful. A highly recommended stop over.

We stumbled across Rockvilla when we couldn't find a last minute room in (or around) Applecross; this was a blessing in disguise. Rockvilla is situated on the main road through Lochcarron, facing the loch (literally a stone's throw). Views are spectacular, but this is matched by the food which is plentiful, tasty and good value. On the evening we arrived,... More

We were at the end of a holiday in a series of B and B's in the North West Highlands and this was our last and the best by a long way. We were guided by Trip Advisor in our other choices and had read a lot of reviews which said things like "We felt like we were staying in... More

We visited this wonderful hotel as part of a cycling trip. The owners were absolutely great. They couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel was perfectly clean with amazing views and fantastic food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

We had a lovely, large room overlooking the loch, all very well-appointed. Peter and Wendy made us very welcome, we felt like friends as much as paying guests. We had dinner there both nights; the first night (Sunday) was very busy as other places were closed, but on Monday it was just us, a peaceful meal for two. The food... More

We had family visiting for a week but lacked space at home for them to stay with us, so they booked in to the Rockvilla instead. They were very pleased with all aspects of their stay. They had a lovely room, were well fed and made to feel like members of the family. Big thanks to Wendy and Pete for... More

The rooms are very clean and comfortable with excellent views over the loch. The food is great and we were provided with a fine (and never ending) selection of beers and ales (which suited our mountain biking contingent). I should have been there 3 nights but unfortunately after the first I came off my bike, broke my elbow and spent... More

I stayed at Rockvilla Guest House for three nights with a group of mountain-bikers in May 2015. The location is stunning, right on the water, and it's a perfect base for exploring the Applecross Peninsula. The accommodation and rooms were great, the price was very reasonable and, above all the hospitality from the hosts Peter & Wendy was absolutely outstanding.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights last weekend as part of a large group doing a charity bike ride. On arrival we were greeted immediately by our host Peter and Wendy who made the whole stay very relaxed and enjoyable. The rooms are cosy and clean, tea coffee and biscuits are available. Most come with a view of Lochcarron. Breakfast... More
