i stayed here with a friend recently and having looked at Loch Dubh on the internet have to say it lived up to, if not beyond, expectation. Emma runs her B&B from a lovely house with the most beautiful view of Loch Carron. The rooms were well appointed and breakfast was served in a dining area with yet more views...

We stayed in the self catering house for one night. It was warm, very comfortable, well decorated. Emma had left fresh milk in the fridge for us. Emma was very helpful and welcoming, the surroundings are lovely. If we ever come back to this area we would definitely book this b&b again.

We have stayed many times with Emma and Andrew in this lovely B & B and have never been disappointed. We are made most welcome and there is a wonderful family feel to the home. Rooms are really comfortable and the lovely breakfast is served in a beautiful room overlooking the Loch. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

The b&b was just delightful. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. Couldn't find a fault with it. If up that way again i'll stay there if there are vacancies. If you get good weather you'll get a lovely tan as it's beside the Loch.

It comes as no surprise that the self catering chalet at Loch Dubh consistently receives 5 star reviews. It is thoroughly deserved. The chalet was spotless with quality fittings, and the furnishings demonstrated flair and style. There was a very comfortable bed, lots of space and light and a log burning stove which you could choose to use or not....

My friend and I stayed at Loch Dubh last week (29 September), chosen after extensive research. We were not disappointed. This was a return to Lochcarron for me – the first place I ever stayed in Scotland, with my late mother, about 15-20 years ago – and Loch Dubh made that slightly bittersweet return far more palatable than it could’ve...

We were happy to return here. The room is simple but clean, with lovely views over the loch. Emma is warm and welcoming, and provides a good breakfast served at the big table giving great views. It is great to have free wifi provided.

We stayed in the chalet next to the main house. It is very new and beautifully clean -most important to me!! The shower is really good and the view over the loch is lovely. The hosts were most hospitable and even helped us jump start our car - oops! A great place to relax and from which to explore the...

We stayed at the little chalet next to the main house and were floored when we entered it. It's stunningly beautiful, modern, but still cosy with a great view over the lake. The chalet has a living room with a kitchen in on one corner and a table for four in the other, a bedroom and the spacious bathroom with...
