Nice restaurant good food and staff very friendly. Food was served very hot and on hot plates which makes all the difference. Was informed that everything was cooked from fresh that's why we had a little wait, which we didn't mind.

Booked 2 rooms for a Saturday night away with my elderly parents, and did so after reading some good reviews on Tripadvisor. Big mistake!! On our initial arrival, we were very warmly welcomed by a lovely lady at the reception, whom I informed we were going to meet family elsewhere and would be back to check in later. She informed us... Nothing to complain about here. All good, except that the décor is looking a wee bit tired. Food well cooked and served with a smile. Good, but not in your face, service. Just as I like it. Room warm and cosy. Comfortable bed with extra pillows if desired. Not too dear.

We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival to this gem in Aberdeenshire. Our party of two adults and two children were treated to a two night stay with a luxurious feel. The decor is classic country house and the rooms were clean, fresh and well equipped. At breakfast on both days we had great service and choice. The... More

The 3 of us (husband and 2 year old) had a lovely meal at the bennachie lodge last week. The staff were very helpful and tolerant of our 2 year olds antics. The food was nicely cooked, hot and tasty. There was a good choice of meals on the menu. Service was prompt. We had to wait a little while... More

I'm glad we didn't order starters or we'd still be there! The menu is limited and pretentious given the locale. There is fish, pasta, pork, chicken and... More

“Room 8 has a double bed in the eaves; the room is slightly smaller; the bathroom has a bath rather than only a shower, if that's what you enjoy. Room 1 is above the bar (which wasn't at all noisy the night I was there), and has twin beds and a shower (no bath).”
