Booked into 'The Retreat' for a wee mid summer break. Have stayed there before so we knew it would be clean, tidy with great food and the usual warm welcome from hosts Bill and Barbara. Barbara does massage and reflexology all in house so you just chill and relax and let the world go by. Bill is an entertainer and...

We were attending a wedding at Grey Abbey in April and stayed at the Retreat for three days. Me, my husband and 3 daughters had a delightful stay. The accommodation met all our needs but the hospitality was over and above anything we could have expected. Bill and Barbara are lovely people and nothing was too much trouble. Two of...

We stayed just one night at The Retreat, and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Bill and Barbara are great hosts, friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was first class - fresh fruit, cereal, juice, tea and a perfectly cooked Ulster fry - all using the best of ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed...

It was lovely to go back to The Retreat - a real treat!. Everything was just as last year – very comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfasts (and dinner too!) and the same special, warm welcome from Bill and Barbara.

Have stayed with Bill and Barbara on several occasions and their hospitality still remains 5*. A beautiful relaxing home with great accommodation and the breakfasts are amazing. Definitely worth a visit and don't forget the relaxation therapies provided by Barbara at an additional cost.

The accommodation is spotless with plenty of space and quality touches. A very comfortable bed in the cream room. Dinner and breakfast were cooked to perfection. We went for several treatments, reflexology and massages...

An excellent experience in a most comfortable room with a perfect breakfast and incredibly hospitable hosts. We will definitely be returning for additional visits. Little touches made all the difference. Please see previous reviews. Thank you Bill and Barbara.

We stayed with Bill and Barbara for 5 nights, in the 1st floor room with ensuite, while visiting family and attending a family wedding. The room was lovely, with nice touches like chocolates and fresh flowers. Bill's fry-ups were spectacular and the overall atmosphere was very relaxed. Really enjoyed our stay, and Bill and Barbara are excellent hosts - thank...
