We had a 3 night break at this lovely and relaxing guest house in September. Ann was very friendly and did everything possible to make sure we were happy and satisfied as I'm sure she endeavours to do for all her guests. I really could not find fault with any aspect and would recommend wholeheartedly. The area has lots to...

Anne welcomed us into her lovely house. Very clean. Very friendly. Very peaceful. Great nights sleep. Great breakfast. We used it as an overnight stay after visiting the Picturedrome to see a concert. It's a short walk into the village. I would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks Simon.

This is a guest house, not a hotel. We stayed for three nights while we toured "Last of Summer Wine" locations. Ann is a outstanding hostess - friendly, outgoing, informative and lively. Yes, the dogs are there, but she is training them to behave better. Her breakfasts are varied. We had porridge one day (at our request), a full English...

This was a last minute booking when delays to our friends house renovation project required us to find alternative accommodation. No offence friends but your disappointment created a fabulous experience for us. The setting is idyllic with beautiful gardens surrounding three sides of the house. We had a great room with ensuite facilities and I don't think I have slept...

We have just spend a fantastic night at Anne's B&B! In fact, to call it a B&B doesn't really do it justice - it's a beautiful house which Anne shares with guests as if they were her own family. Nothing is too much trouble. The room and private bathroom (not en-suite) were spotless and really charming. We were provided with...
