Very friendly welcome at this pretty bed and breakfast place. The breakfast was tasty; good quality ingredients were well cooked. No hesitation in recommending Croft Gate, it is an especially good location for walkers.

We stayed for one night (only unfortunately!). Martin and Jan were fantastic hosts. They were incredibly helpful and welcoming, they helped us find a place for dinner and could recommend something to suit anyone in the local area. The room was perfect, beautifully decorated and clean, and the en suite having a bath was wonderful. The bathroom was stocked with... More

I had booked this lovely B&B as a treat for my boyfriend for his birthday. We are both walkers so this seemed like the perfect retreat having read other reviews. I can say it didn't disappoint. We stayed for 3 nights in room 2 which was so well furnished. The bed is huge and comfy, and there is a little... More

Simply fantastic stay. The B&B is ideally located for casual and serious walkers alike. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Toiletries were high quality as were the furnishings. Breakfast was fantastic with several choices and fresh high quality ingredients provided. Check out the pub a short walk up the road (Old Hill Inn)- the food was exceptional- particularly... More

Quality B&B in a quiet and tranquil setting. Ideal for walkers and people just wanting to relax. Very nice accomodation, spotlessly clean, a good bed and a warm welcome from Jan and Martin. The breakfast (picture included in review) was the best we have had anywhere and we do a lot of travelling. Perfectly cooked. What more could you ask... More

The ideal place to stop after a long day of walking. The rooms are beautiful and so peaceful. The owners are attentive and the breakfast is really good. The only place to stay when walking in the area !

Four of us stayed here for one night while doing the Dales Way. It was a bit off route but our choices were limited. The quality of the accommodation was very good. It was clean, to a high standard and the master bedroom was particularly attractive. The quality of the breakfast was good and the backups excellent (although pricier than... More

Thank you for such a comprehensive review, and your kind comments about our home. As you say we are not a normal stop off for people undertaking the Dales Way. Regarding the issue with food I do recall suggesting you may wish to eat at the Station Inn at Ribblehead as you would be passing this Inn before coming on... More

Spotless clean. Lovely room, excellent breakfast. It is a 3 mile drive into Ingleton village which is lovely as is the waterfall trail. The owners Jan and Martin are very nice people. I would certainly visit again.
