Back to our good old favourite, being able to walk to this little gem through the village works up a thirst. Then catching up on the days walking with others many who stay here to do the Three Peak Challenge is a great. Along with the locals sat in their usual spots at the end of the bar ,this traditional pub...

Had a fab lunch in this pub on a Sunday afternoon. The food was fantastic with very generous portions. There were some unique options on the menu including a vegetarian alternative to fish and chips. Will definitely go back when we're next in the area.

Second night in Ingleton and tried the Wheatsheaf. Dogs welcome and plenty of available tables although it got busier later. Already knew they had a good choice of beers but a decent menu too if a little unimaginative, but the specials board made up for that! We had the cod and sea bass, and both were excellent, perfectly cooked and...

This was our second stay at The Wheatsheaf Inn, and once again we thoroughly enjoyed it, and will stay again. There were a couple of minor issues with our room due to a blocked shower tray, and no hot water, but once we brought this to the attention of the staff, it was all sorted for us straight away. Management...

We stayed the night in the Wheatsheaf after walking at Ingleton falls, on arrival we were quickly shown to our room by the assistant manager, the room was clean and tidy. The biggest let down was the food, it was horrendous!!! We decided to eat in the pub as that is where we were staying but I wished we hadn't,...

We booked here for sunday lunch while they were holding a music festival - did the lunch disappoint - I'm afraid it did - roast beef that couldn't be cut -roast potatoes that were hard and veggies that looked and tasted like they had all been put into the same pot and boiled to oblivion. I don't like giving negative...

Stayed one night so we could do the waterfall trail. Arrived about 9pm but managed to have a couple of beers before turning in. Bar man was lovely and friendly. Our room was basic but a real comfy bed. The lady doing the breakfast was polite and friendly and the breakfast was huge and delicious. Wish we had booked for...

Always go to this pub as it's the only one as far as I'm aware in ingleton that sells cocktails. I love the options and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing atmosphere so it's a great place to go if you just want a quiet night out with friends.

We were searching around for a place to eat on a Sunday night with dogs. Always a problem in the south, and a local suggested this place. Well does not look like much from the outside but what a gem inside for good old pub grub. Staff well trained and very welcoming Can't fault.

We visited the Wheatsheaf for a night as we travelled to Ingleton to walk the waterfall trails. Pub was very friendly and busy on the Saturday afternoon good bar selection. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Our evening meal and breakfast were all very nice.
