Wonderful bar, fantastic and tonic at the bar. Can't fault the food and the waiters and waitresses very attentive. Stayed in a lovely room, spotless and everything we needed was in the room. Totally recommend the Alma Inn.

Went to the Alma for our annual business meeting (9 in total). We found the food to be poor and expensive. I ordered prawns for my starter and was given four which were like rubber, at nearly £9.00, a total rip off! My steak pie was a piece of fillet with pastry round. I was expecting steak and some gravy...

This oldvinn is in the middle of nowhere. But is worth the journey. The food was fabulous. I will be there for a wedding on three weeks and the grounds, views and indoor decoration are great. I will submit photos after the event

As a belated 23rd anniversary treat we wanted a bit of luxury and some nice food. Recommended by a friend we booked in. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you, the room was clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a double Jacuzzi bath! The food was superb with excellent choice. As we needed a treat and live locally wanted to spend an evening dining on a lovely summers eve. The food was delicious. At first portions seemed small but this was decetive due to large bowls!!!. Actually portions were plentiful and we had large appetites as looked forward to the meal all day. Had cocktails too and these were lovely....

First visit to The Alma Inn for an evening wedding reception, but will certainly not be the last. Beautiful location with a very friendly welcome. All staff were very well mannered and actually looked to be enjoying themselves. Must say a big thank you to one of the waitresses, Beth, who made sure we had a steady stream of Fish...

Went to a wedding here and stayed overnight. Wedding: bar service was a little slow with often only 1 person on the bar, and the room next to the bar a little crowded, however the garden room where we dined was well laid out, food was nice and staff helpful. Room and service: were excellent. Spacious room, rather too warm...

Saw an article about The Alma Inn in a local magazine so whilst we were having a trip to Boundry Mill we thought we'd visit for lunch. We both had a pasta dish and it was delicious, served piping hot with garlic bread. Followed by the assists which was very nice and coffee. Fast, efficient, polite service and lovely surroundings,...

We stopped here for lunch, after being recommend by friends on the last Saturday of May..This is a real nice place in a lovely setting. Both my wife and I had starters, scotch egg & smoked salmon, followed by two roast dinners which were great. We dined al-fresco as it was a lovely sunny day and the waiting staff were...
