This is one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at in the UK. The hosts were absolutely marvelous in the way they took care of me each time I stayed. The cottage has a long history, originally built by a sea captain reputed to have been at the Battle of Trafalgar. Even though it is now thoroughly modernised...

We had a lovely room in this beautiful old thatched property and enjoyed our short break celebrating my husband Terry's birthday immensely and as an added bonus the weather was kind. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

The cottage is as charming as it looks in the photos. Anne and Andy were very attentive and friendly hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and overall attention to detail was first class. Breakfast was delicious as were the various homemade goodies to go with it. Very central for exploring Devon by car or public transport....

Having read all the excellent reviews concerning this beautiful and unique little cottage, I was a little bit worried that it might not live up to the high standards that I expected. Needless to say though, I wasn't disappointed! You're greeted at the door by the warm and friendly hosts, and given a brief tour before being shown to your...

We were greeted by Anne, shown to our room and were shown the first of the special touches of home made biscuits a mini fridge with fresh milk, water and comes along with lovely toiletries. Anne then asked if we would like...

Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices including the full blown English breakfast and a delicious continental one. The bus service is frequent and reliable. The local...

Upon arrival my partner and I were greeted by our host and shown to our room which was on the ground floor. It was deceptively spacious as we had a small hallway with cupboard containing ironing facilities and extra pillows, we had a large modern en-suite with shower over bath and a good sized double bedroom with some original features....

We had a lovely stay, Anne and Andy were excellent hosts and know how to run a B&B properly, with added little extras at no extra cost e.g. cream tea on arrival. They couldn't do enough to make your stay a good one.
