I don't really now what to say about this hotel without being nasty, the rooms were so dirty, the mattresses had weird stains- my back was breaking me as the mattress was about 200 years old so the only thing i felt was springs and wood from the bed frame. I did see the doctor about it (in gran canaria)...

Hi, we stayed here 5-12 Feb. We stayed in a room on the ground floor. The appt was quite tired looking and needs a good update,, but it was very clean and fairly well equipped. It had a cooker, oven and 2 rings and a kettle. There was enough equipment for 3 people. As it was quite chilly at night,...

Good value for what we paid. Pool cleaned everyday with lifeguard attendance although due to time of year pool cold. Steps not a problem and supermarket, bars and beach really close by. TV and Internet on top but good price. We took our own kettle. Reception ,bar staff great. Lorraine entertainer gave 150 percent. Drink at poolside very cheap and...

Just got back after a week at this hotel, couldnt have asked for a better hotel! Right next to the shopping centre (well a lot of steps down, it hurts to walk back up them lol) but close enough to all the bars and food. My boyfriend arranged with the hotel receptionists prior to going through emails a surprise of...

Had a room on ground floor right by poolside bar, this was only a problem when it was karaoke night because mic was malfunctioning and kept getting kick back through speakers. Accommodation is basic but clean however a kettle would be useful instead of having to boil water in a pan. Cooker wasn't very good but only tried to warm...

We booked this hotel last minute for Jan 2014. It isn't the most modern of places but it's in the perfect location and I have to say, the staff members were so friendly and helpful, especially the entertainment man (can't for the life of me remember his name!!) would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here last summer with my boyfriend for a week in mid August. Staff were very friendly, room was cleaned everyday to a high standard - except some days they didn't change our toilets or provide more toilet roll. Our room had a balcony with excellent views over the resort. Pool was decent, clean and not too crowded if you...

We stayed here purely last minute for a cheap price and we didnt expect the best hotel but when we got there we was suprised. Rooms are very basic and clean but no T.V unless you paid, Beds were very thin and hard and the shower was useless. Apart from them 3 things about the room the hotel was decent...

Travelled to Gran canaria on the 27/12/14 to 10/1/15 and stayed at the castillo del sol. it is situated on the left hand side as you look at the bay and up two fights of stairs which was fine for us but quite hard work if any walking difficulties but loads of taxis. Poo bar open with happy hour and...
