Absolutely beautiful estate in Chianti with wonderful service, comfortable rooms, excellent food and wine, and remarkable views of vineyards and olive orchards. This was our second time to stay here and we look forward to many return trips to Villa Le Barone!

Dear Grant G, I am glad you liked your stay at Villa le Barone and hope you could relax and rest. I am glad you enjoyed our food (and our half pension scheme) ... we remain extremely classical with our (very) Tuscan recipes and skirt away from international mish mash. Many of our Guests return after their first stay and I hope you shall be amongst them. Thank you again for taking the time to review your stay. Sincerely, Corso Aloisi de Larderel

Villa Le Barone very much exceeded our expectations! Sitting high above the region, your views are vineyards for as far as the eyes can see! The owners live on the estate and make the guests feel at home! Large lounge areas outside are beautifully landscaped, outside/inside dining areas provide safe distancing and elegance, beautiful swimming pool, and comfortable living/lounge areas inside. Free parking on property onsite just one minute walk from check-in. Service, food, and wine were exceptional. While there are probably plenty of great choices, we will staying at the Villa Le Barone on each of our trips to Chianti. Looking forward to our return trip!

My wife and I have been visiting Tuscany for over 30 years and have stayed at numerous hotels over that time. The Villa Le Barone remains the benchmark against which the rest are measured. The beauty of the buildings, the perfection of the setting but above all the calm, friendly efficiency of staff that do not appear to be following a staff training ritual but just know how to help their guests enjoy the paradise that is this part of Italy. All gently guided by the wonderful owners of the property who dine and mingle with their guests as if hosting friends for the weekend. Great classic Tuscan cuisine, ideal location, lovely new pool, endless views and not a TV in site, bliss.

Dear 613philipk, there is a saying in French that "culture is what remains after one has forotten everything else" ... maybe at Le Barone, Staff and Owners, after 45 years of experience, have now forgotten everyhing about Hotel business and just practice the art of friendly welcomimg and hosting friends. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in spite of the fact that service and amenities have had to be reduced because of Covid: no fresh flower bouquets inside the Villa, no access to the book librairies, no self service buffet ... we long for next year when hopefully we shall be able to host you again in full shape. Thank you for having taken th time to write a review on us. Sincerely, Corso and Jacqueline Aloisi de Lrderel

We happened upon this magical hotel whilst planning a trip to Panzano in order to eat at the restaurant of Dario, which we saw on Netflix and the beautiful landscape inspired us to plan a trip. This is no ordinary place. It is something the likes of which is too rare these days, from the bygone era of elegant travel and “The Grand Tour” of times past. We would like to extend our thanks to The Baron and Baroness for their graciously making our visit even more enjoyable by sharing tips of places to see and also always taking the time to ensure we were happy. Frankly if you can’t be happy at this place then where? Stefania, Barbara and Julia at reception kindly did all they could and more to make this a memorable trip and the service from Julia in the restaurant, Eduardo and also Amira, amongst many others, was exceptional also. All we can add is that we hope to return soon and often, the accommodation is charming and the food delicious, the pool is beautiful and the surrounding landscape, majestic. Thanks to all who made our family holiday such a wonderful experience. Kind Regards, The Peracha Family

Dear Peracha family, I am sorry I was away at the farm when you left and i could not say good bye and wish you all the best! I must say that I had shivers of pleasure going through me when I read your kind review. At Villa le Barone, we (Staff and owners) are going through a difficul time with the Covid Pandemic both from a financial and from a management point of view (everyone's safety is very imporant) and your review brings a smile of satisfaction (not stupid pride!) to my lips and and ligt in my brain. Stefania, Barbara et all sure share this pleasure. Apparently we managed to reach our goal and bring a happy holiday to a lovely family. Please share all the best wishes from all of us with the whole family, wishing you health, happiness and success and looking forward to hosting you all again. Sincerely, Corso, Jacqueline and all the Staff at Villa le Barone
