I have stayed at the Borgo several times over the previous 12 years. It has matured and improved each year. The managers, Franco and Pascale, are true professionals with a wonderful personal touch. Every room is well appointed and functional. All of the flowers, grass, bocci court, etc are perfect, and the chef is a genius. I had a group...

The Borgo is a unique and gorgeous property. We came as part of a group and experienced wonderful service throughout. Franco and Pascale were extremely helpful in every respect. The food was delectable, and careful attention was paid to special requests. We hope to return at some point.

The Borgo is starting to show some wear and tear after 5+ years. Also, some of the amenities, such as the complimentary evening aperitivo, have disappeared. The place is still very pretty and the accomodations very comfortable. Franco and Pascale, the managers, are nice but clearly a notch below the originl team. Recommendations to sites and restaurants were weak and...

We spent a week at the Borgo as part of a larger group. We found it to be the perfect balance of Tuscan charm and luxury accommodation. Franco and Pascale and their entire staff were excellent hosts, making it a truly memorable week. The food and wine onsite was wonderful and they arranged the perfect daily excursions and restaurant choices...

The new managers, Franco and Pascale are more than up to the task of meeting the high standards set by the prior managers. The Borgo retains its charm, functionality and integrity. The rooms are superb and the Borgo is a tranquil paradise. Cannot say enough good things about this property. Highly recommend.

It was my frist trip to Italy and the Borgo Finocchieto made the trip absolutely amazing. Service was fantasitc -- the food was very fresh. The atmosphere was superb as you could wake up and watch the fog roll in while the sun rises. Sleep quarters were excellent. I will never forget this trip.

Attention to detail would be the best way to describe this property. Marco and his wife Carolyn with there staff make this a very enjoyable experience. The evenings were most memorable with the aperitifs and amazing 5 star meals prepared by there chef. The beautiful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere made this a hard place to leave. Borgo Finocchieto is an outstanding property. The rooms are authentic and elegant with wonderful private bathrooms. The public rooms are outstanding gathering places and the gym is first rate. Although I was there for leisure, as a former Corporate trainer, I think the Borgo would be a perfect place for a company retreat. On my trips, I found the Borgo...

You will not be dissapointed by the Borgo. Borgo Finocchieto is literally a small village, restored to Renaissance elegance. It sits atop a small mountain overlooking Tuscany and Montalcino. The guest quarters are immaculate. I'm not sure of the capacity of the entire compound, but from the look of it it can easily accomadate parties requiring 20-30 bedroms. The ammentities...

I visited the Borgo while it was still a work in progress, but was extremely impressed by the setting, amenities, decor and general ambiance of the villas. The villas were extremely comfortable, with phenomenal linens (absolutely heavenly high-thread count Frette), extremely well equipped kitchens ideal for cooking goods from the daily local market, and furnishings that give modern conveniences but...

“If you want solitude from the other villas on the property we stayed in the Filippi house. Small two bedroom with a private patio that meets the morning sunrise. You can not go wrong with any of the villas you choose. Most fun with a large group as we had.”
