Eileen was a wonderful hostess even driving us to dinner as we arrived very late. Her home is charming and comfortable and the full breakfast delicious. This is a working farm set right on the ocean. The views are wonderful and worth the short drive out from Kinsale. If you are lucky enough to stay a night with Eileen, you... More

This is an absolutely fabulous B & B! Where to start - Eileen is a warm, down - to earth person who makes you feel welcome in her home. Her home is comfortable, clean and feels very homey. Our room was spacious and airy. She also offers a great Irish breakfast that kept us going until supper each evening. For... More

Eileen was wonderful and took great care of us on our first long day in Ireland. She was very quick to get back to us with any questions and allowed us to check in early for a nap after our long trip. The scones and coffee were lovely when we arrived and the suggestions to go into Kinsale to walk... More

My mother and I visited Ireland and Seafield Farmhouse was our fist B&B stop. Having never stayed in a B&B before we were pleasantly surprised! Seafield is a working farm and the family's chickens, dog, and cat were a welcome sight for an animal lover like me. Our room was very clean and cozy with good wifi. The view from... More

After you have seen the tourist sights it's just being in Ireland and being with the people you meet that makes you come back again and again. We have stayed with Eileen at Seafield Farmhouse three times now. It's hard to write about Eileen as a B&B hostess because she makes us feel like part of her family The fact... More

We stayed here 2 nights and i wish we had stayed longer. For me, the country setting was amazing especially after staying in Dublin for 2 nights. Eileen was very helpful in giving directions, and her breakfasts, coffee, and scones were to die for. When we would come in at night her and daughter were there to offer some coffee... More

The only downside to this is that it is about a 15-minute drive from Kinsale, so if you are going into town at night you are going to need to drive rather than walk. Given how narrow the road is, that might be a bit daunting for some. That aside, this was a wonderful place to stay and our proprietor/hostess,... More

Eileen was an excellent host in welcoming my best friend and me with hot tea upon our chilly arrival. She also provided scones which was very appreciated because I was hungry. Not only did she provide drink&food for us, but she stayed up to chat with us while Irish music played in the background (loved that she added the radio... More

We spent one night at Seafield Farmhouse. Eileen was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We went for a walk and experienced some beautiful sites. Our breakfast was very good. Only a couple of suggestions would be to provide some softer towels and upgrade your wifi. Overall we had a nice visit.

Very comfortable with a beautiful view of the harbor from our room. Our host, Eileen, recommended the Pink Elephant restaurant for dinner which has a wonderful harbor view and we watched two sailboats go out for a sunset run while we ate a delicious dinner. Breakfast was great and Eileen was most helpful with directions and a reservation at the... More
