We came across this after a hike from Les Vigneaux up to Puy St Vincent. This is a very quiet area in the summer months, so finding such a superb restaurant was a real blessing. We didn't stay here, but the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

We booked a large table for an evening meal. The food was just edible but the service slow and not concerned. We had a birthday so a cake was pre-ordered without checking the price first. The bill was horrendous and they had overcharged on meals and childrens drinks. This was immediately changed when we confronted them, however, they then demanded...

I stayed at this hotel as part of a group, but wouldn't hesitate to return on my own. It's central to many excellent national park spots to explore, whether you're hiking or driving. The accommodations were clean, if a bit dated, and the staff are mostly polite, helpful, and pleasant. This is a ski area, so the hotel was off-season...

The bad - very old fashioned and worn 1960's or 1970's bedrooms, tiny beds with annoying footboards so that tall-ish adults don't fit, unpleasant ensuite bathrooms and the bedrooms are very hot and arid with seized-up radiator valves so that there is no means of lowering the heat. Also, the worst 'wifi' signal ever encountered, despite correctly entering the codes...

In fairness, this might be an amazing place to stay, but I'm glad I didn't. We called in for a drink as we had an hour to wait for the bus to take us back to our accommodation. We gave our orders at the bar to a sour-faced woman with two-tone hair, and walked to the far end where there...

We were there this summer. We've only eaten there and I must say I have never given my advise about any restaurant before but I promised my son to do so. I went there with him for lunch and although my food was not so bad, his food was horrible. The service was horrible, f.e. .We didn't get our food...

We stayed for a week of skiing at our favourite alpine resort. Puy st Vincent is a relaxed, family resort and this hotel fits in perfectly. The staff are very friendly and will always trt to help. English speaking is not great but we are in France after all. The food is outstanding, go for the half board and you...
