This is a wonderful hotel with amazing mountain views. It is family-run to a very professional standard, is very comfortable for both winter and summer mountain holidays plus the restaurant is both modern and high quality. We come here every year with a group of friends and have made it our home from home, helped by all the staff and their encouragement to treat the hotel as we would a chalet or our own home. It is particularly great for people with disabilities, there is a lift to all the floors as well as adapted rooms, plus the staff have a positive attitude and will make your stay as comfortable as you could wish. The hotel has now been owned by the same family for 10 years, we have come every year, and thoroughly recommend it. Each year they make more improvements, and they have lots of suggestions for getting the most out of your stay in this area.

Enjoy with a capital G!!! What a wonderful treat! We had beautiful rooms with balconies and/or views! (If you prefer this, please ask, there may be some rooms that have less of a view) wonderful beds and a lovely (hard) hot shower. The kitchen is of Star class! What a surprise every day! G means hospitable, wonderful, enjoying, Location just in front of the lift (50 meters) to a snow-sure head of 1800 meters. Super relaxed ski area, something for everyone!
They also serve food outside the living room to "non" hotel guests, experience this for very acceptable menu prices!
If you get an opportunity here, it's going to be great, grab it with both hands, it won't get any better (fast)
Thank you Yvonne and Valentijn and the whole team!! We felt more than at home ❤️ On behalf of the family with 4 kids!
No comments ? Sure, it's not "perfect" at home either, the heater is ok, but wet clothes are difficult to dry, the bathrooms function fine but could be freshened up, if your car is snowed in on the parking deck, it can of course be dug out before departure. Slightly better information (for new guests) about ski schools and route choice. (Google maps is not perfect)

I have just spent another wonderful holiday in the Hotel Saint Roch in the company of a group of friends. We were made very welcome by Valentijn, Yvonne and their staff. As usual they went out of their way to help and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel has a welcoming feel with comfortable rooms, sitting room and bar - all with those great views. There are adapted rooms for people with disabilities and a lift to all floors. The food is truly delicious, whether eaten in the dining room or out on the terrace next to the slopes. The hotel is in a perfect position next to the ski lift, with easy access to an excellent ski hire shop, small shops in the village, some great mountain walks and a local bus service. The only sad part is leaving at the end of the holiday!

We have just returned home from a great weeks skiing. We were a group of 12 (3 families of 4)and the hotel could not have done more for us all. We had a variety of different appetites all were accommodated for and every meal was fantastic especially the gala dinner on the thursday night. The hotel is in a great location at the foot of the piste and has great access to the ski lifts. With our room we booked the drinks included option and it was well worth the money. Beer, wine, coffee, hot chocolate and all branded soft drinks on tap, the kids could get their own drink whenever they wanted. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed in it. We had trouble with our return transfer by city airport taxis as they cancelled our return leg the day we were leaving but the hotel rallied round to help and sorted alternative transport to get to the airport in time. I would highly recommend the hotel and hope to visit again soon.

We were welcomed by such a lovely team of warm, enthousiastic and active people fully in love with their own working environment - their happiness is definetely radiating on the guests of the hotel.
Taking care of their guests from early morning (healthy breakfast getting you ready for an active day in nature) until late evening (joining you for a beer after a delicious, modern yet still French/mediterrenean inspired dinner), not afraid to share recommendations of biking and hiking trails in the area or stimulating you to cross your Alpine boundaries if you feel ready yet nervous about it.
Absolutely recommending a long or short stay at St. Roche and certainly going back in the near future!

For years we have been coming to this hotel in wintertime for our annual ski holiday. This was our first time in the summer. We absolutely LOVED it! The hotel is the perfect basis for a visit to the southern Alpes and closeby (puy st vincent, Briançon area) you already have an abundance of activities to do with the family! With our kids of 9 and 10 we did the Forêt Sensations (climbing challenges), rafting, the ‘luge d’été’, golf practice and we did some great hikes with picknick. The team of the hotel knows the area extremely well and has helped us a lot to find the best selection for our small family. In the evening we enjoyed the sunny terrace for a nice aperitif, a jeu de boules, a board game, a swim. We took the half pension formula with the evening menu, which has absolutely stunned us!! The food has always been good at the St Roch but the kitchen team is getting better and better. They excelled themselves and especially the way the St Roch chef can present different vegetables every day in a surprising and tasty way is definitely a reason to recommend the hotel/ restaurant to anyone wishing to visit the region. Add the exceptional and warm hospitality of the St Roch team to all this and you get a wonderful family stay. Our kids loved it as much as we did! We will be back, summer as well as winter!

This is the 5th time we have visited the Hotel St Roch for New Years Eve. It has become a home from home for us and many of our friends from Ireland. Beautiful accommodation, top quality food, excellent wine and efficient service. Hotel’s location 20 metres from the chair lift is unrivalled. The News Years Eve celebrations with a 5 course dinner, champagne, fireworks and entertainment is out of this world. The hotel is family run and Valentijn and Yvonne do an incredible job. Very lucky to make it this year with Covid. A perfect reminder of the great things in life that await us when it is behind us.

Just back from a weeks stay here. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. For a start, the location is perfect - at the foot of the piste with the boot room opening out to the lifts. Ski hire shop and ski pass office were next door. Secondly, the food was excellent. The variety and quality was exceptional. We had a 3 course meal every evening (child friendly meals were also served if required). Breakfast was a continental help yourself buffet. The hotel is extremely clean, comfortable and homely. There is an enclosed fire in the dining room along with a large selection of books, playing cards and board games that you can use if you want to just chill out. The bedrooms are basic, but clean and comfy. What really makes the hotel is the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are all extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. Thank you Yvonne, Valentin and the rest of the team for a truly fantastic week.

We had the best stay at this Hotel and the hosts were super friendly and simply amazing people. I can highly recommend the restaurant on site as the chef is like that of a high end restaurant. Really my compliments. As part of the hotel there is also a Chalet for rent (where we stayed) for groups with stunning views of the surroundings. All in all amazing stay and will definitely return! 😊

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was fabulous and the hotel is ski in, ski out - what more could you want from a ski hotel? In addition, a lovely sunny terrace - perfect for lunch. Would highly recommend and have booked again for next year.
