Well kept grounds and warm reception make this a destination domicile. Luxury and charm blend well in this historic property, and a sweet road trip away are countless discoveries most would miss while visiting the South of France. Explore the landscaped grounds, dining room, terrace and common areas. It's quite a rambling place! No wonder the Marquis de Sade liked...

Stayed at this very interesting hotel for four nights with family and friends. We had one more than acceptable disabled room and three other single rooms, mine had excellent views over the town and countryside. The staff were all excellent and all the rooms, including the little bar and lounge were tastefully furnished and decorated. Breakfasts were were very good...

We were booked here by the company that set up our self guided bike tour around the region. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, our room is quiet and comfortable and the historic chateau is full of artwork and antiques. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant the evening we arrived.

We have eaten here a few times while on holiday and chose to have my parents stay here for their 55th wedding anniversary. While adventurous, my father is blind and both are a little infirm; also neither speaks much French. The hotel is lovely anyway, beautiful setting and old world charm but the service really made us take note -...

From the very first moment when we entered the foyer of Hotel Chateau Mazan I knew we were in for a wonderful experience. The hotel and staff are totally charming, extremely attentive and helpful. I adored the faded Art Deco styling and combined with elegant French style and with interesting objects d'art dotted around, this is one amazing and very...

Enjoyed several days here as a part of a bike tour (ubiquitous here, as you are in the shadow of Mont Ventoux). The staff was delightful and our room, in the adjacent building was large and well-appointed. With the exception of the silly internet with dozens of routers which needed to be logged into separately, it was a great visit....

The chateau is in a great location, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The restaurant for breakfast was one of the best we encountered. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was extremely helpful and the room was exceptional. We loved the bathtub! We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast on the terrace. We loved the neighborhood cats who came to visit. If you are passing through this area, this is a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

“Our room was uniquely narrow and long. The door opened to the back of the headboard, window at the foot of the bed. It was inventively executed. The chalk-white walls, up-to-date amenities and charming appointments made it feel fresh, uncluttered, modern and Old Worldly all at the same time.”
