Nice hotel on the English Channel of Normandy area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. View of the water from our room was absolutely beautiful. Walk across the street for beach. Would definately stay again.
sea view, just across the road from the sandy beach, and watching the sunset every night was fantastic. The bathroom had a view over the countryside at the back. Good parking, and good location for exploring Normandy. Breakfast simple but fresh, and the owner made sure I had a good gluten free choice. Will definitely return!!
We were looking for a hotel in a good location near the Normandy beaches easily accessible from Calais. We also wanted one outside any major towns and with parking facilities. This hotel seemed to fit the bill. Being on the coast, it was a little more expensive. We chose a room with a partial sea view, which meant that it was on the 3rd floor, looking over and past the houses in front. The stairs to the third floor were steep and we made as few journeys up and down as we could plan. The room had a separate bedroom and sitting room so we had adequate space and seating for our stay and the bed was large and comfortable. The hotel has free wi-fi which worked well even at the top of the building, but you need a separate password from reception for each device you wish to use, something not made clear to us on arrival. The owner and staff were very helpful and with their English and our French we managed to get by. The hotel has adequate car parking at the side, but in busy times you may have to reverse out into the road. The road in front of the hotel was not busy at night, so there was no problem from traffic noise. Overall, a very pleasant hotel, if perhaps a little expensive.…
We stayed there for a night and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful, we had an interesting discussion during the breakfast :-) The room is spotless clean, modestly but tastefully decorated. The bedding was excellent: very comfortable, we were sleeping like babies!!! The garden side room was very quiet. The breakfast was also very good. The location is perfect if you want to enjoy a real normand seashore far from the people mobs at Deauville. It will take you 1 minute to go to the beach on foot. Do not count too much on the wifi, it may be saturated. Overall a very pleasant experience in this little hotel!
Stayed one night here and found that it was faultless, especially in view of the very modest rates. Breakfast was adequate but not flashy and although the room was a little unimaginative it was absolutely spotless - we shall stay again!
