Hot, noisy, random. But as a stopover it was OK. The rooms are really strange but for 25 euro pp/pn fine and they were kind enough to offer super-late check in. It is not a place to have fun but as a place to lay your head at least clean and serviceable.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, both with and without children. On the last occasion it was just me and my husband. He was pleased to get a chance to use his French as the owner and his wife charmingly never seem to increase their English. They are friendly and welcoming but do not seem troubled by outwardly...

When I am travelling in France I like to find simple bars where you can have a quiet beer or two without being pressurised into having a meal. In many towns this is pretty easy, but in tourist towns most places are set up as restaurants. While staying for a night in Wimereux on our last night of a two...

This is our third visit and as on previous occasions very happy with standard of accommodation. Always very clean. Good location and good value for money. Only problem is you are unable to use any electrical appliances apart from charging a phone.

We stayed for one night in a double room, overlooking Rue Carnot. The room was not overly large but had all that you would expect. Wardrobe, desk, couple of chairs and a small bathroom. The bed was comfortable, quite firm, which suited us. The Hotel proprietor, whilst not speaking much English ( and our very limited French) was most welcoming...

Basic hotel that fitted our requirements exactly. My partner has been to this area before and was wanting to show me as much as possible in our short stay. Therefore, all we wanted was somewhere to put our heads down for the night and prepare the next morning. The room was basic, but ticked all our boxes. Clean and tidy,...

We stayed here in May and had quite a large room however this time our room was very small and cramped and was not really suitable for two people. It really is a question of you get what you pay for and we would only consider staying here again if we could get a family room. Steps are very steep...

Stayed in Hotel Des Arts a couple of years ago. Like a lot of the older cheaper hotels in France its tired. It was reasonably clean and the shower was OK. breakfast was basic and OK. Did not eat other than that in the hotel as Wimereux has several good restaurants close by so its nice to find those out....

We arrived on Saturday afternoon, having been delayed by the shuttle. The hotel looked like many French ones we've stayed in with the comensurate French aroma. The room itself was overlooking the road and we could see the sea but it was an odd shape. At one end of the bed there was hardly any clearance to walk in, whilst...

Agree with everything little Emma (previous reviewer) said. Couldn't have put it better myself. Breakfast costs extra, we were going to have it until we saw what was on offer. Individual boxes of Kelloggs sugar cereals, a small bowl of not too good fruit and sliced bread. There are plenty of places in Wimereaux to eat, go elsewhere.. One minus,...

“You need to find a parking space in the roads near the hotel. The road past the hotel is one-way although the sign marking this was absent. I suspect the rooms are all different so can't comment on which one to request; we were only there one night.”
