Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place to stay in soulac sur mer. Close to everything. The beach, restaurants and shopping. Best part is the owners who make you feel at home and go the extra mile when it comes to service and making sure everything is going well when staying there. Rooms are very quaint and cozy like the rest of the hotel. Have a beach vibe feel to it. Breakfast is really good. Bread, croissants, jam, ham, butter, fresh fruit and all the tea/coffee you want. Can only recommend this hotel.

A cosy and romantic hotel especially, the ground floor rooms have little private gardens for each room. The staff are friendly. Welcoming and helpful. Soulac-sur-Mer is a lovely place to visit. Great beaches and cycling we would Highly recommend this hotel.

This small family run hotel has a great atmosphere perhaps because of the friendly welcome or the quirky artworks that adorn the rooms. A couple of nights staying here was a great start to our holiday. The room we had at the back was quiet and airy with views over the neighbouring rooftops. Free wifi too. Breakfast was a feast. We didn't need any lunch. The town is fascinating because of the architecture and well worth a walk round some of the residential streets. Lots of interesting little shops and cafes, bars and restaurants to poke around in too.

Great decor and double glazing in this hotel that is being run by the third generation of the same family. A lot of attention to detail such as the multiplug next to the bed to allow you to charge your phone over night. I notice these things! The pese-personne gave me a reading I didn't like :-) Great breakfast with honey. All good!

A really friendly owner, cares about service. A bit qwerky in ways and a little dated but clean and comfortable. Not really suitable for people with disabilities- there are steps up to the hotel and bathrooms are small.

If you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced and a bit different, then you will like Hotel Michelet. We chose a room at the back of the hotel, which had a small balcony and views over the lovely architecture of Soulac sur mer. The room was well appointed and very pleasant with free wifi. Breakfast was delicious and well worth the extra money. It is served in a very quirky and delightful dining room full of interesting objects! Hope to return here in the near future.

We stayed here for two nights in September with friends. We all found the hotel very clean and comfortable. M. Michelet was very friendly and welcoming. Although no car park, parking was readily available in the side streets. Wifi was available in the room once the code was obtained. Would certainly return.

We stayed four nights here in September with another couple - we only intended to stay for 2 nights but kept extending as it was so amazing. Phillipe and and his partner went out of their way to look after us - the room was amazing - views of the ocean, clean as a whistle and beautifully decorated, as was the entire hotel. Small, quiet, close to everything - highly recommend it to everyone. Phillipe, thanks for the time to recharge our batteries and get to know Soulac Sur Mer. We hope you enjoyed the white wine and thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

Clean, bright rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is one block off the ocean front, a quiet spot in a low-key beach town. Many visitors get around Soulac on foot or bicycle, which cuts down on traffic. There’s no air conditioning, but the sea breezes kept us cool.
