This is just the place you want to find when looking for a small ,different and special place to stay on your holiday right on the beach. A warm welcome, charming and comfortable rooms with your own private terrace. Good food, only missed good coffee for breakfast. Felt like a home away from home :-)

Excellent choice Mama mapambo hotel for our honeymoon after a week of safari. Perfect hotel to relax lazily lulled by the sound of waves and palm fronds. Long walks on the beach, the changing of the tides gives the eyes a beautiful colours show and shades. Paolo and Cristina are the owners, attentive to our needs. All the cute and...

I write this review with still in the mind and heart the memories of a wonderful holiday enjoyed in Jambiani . Mamamapambo is a small hotel where you feel at home, very nice and with a strong African spirit but to live comfortably barefoot. Cristina and Paolo the two Italian owners have an exceptional staff, we spent unforgettable moments with...

The rooms are very nice decorated and each room has a lovely terrace where you can relax. Breakfast was good and enough (fresh juice, fruits, eggs, jam etc). The dinner is a bit expensive compared with the rest of the restaurants in the area and there are not many restaurants around. White sand beach in front of the villa. The...

Really unique property that really highlights it's awesome location alongside a beautiful beach. Jambiani is difficult to negotiate at night due to the lack of lighting but that's not a reason not to go. It's utterly unspoilt. Stay - you won't regret it

If you are looking for a peaceful place with an amazing staff, delicious food and tasty coctails, this is the best place you could ever think of! We stayed there for 6 days after exhausting Kilimanjaro climb and safari in Tanzania. This was perfect place to relax and clear up our minds. We had a room on the 1st floor...

Just as we had imagined : a very nice, peaceful, beautiful AND simple place to stay in one of the remaining "wild" places in Zanzibar (the rest of the island is full of resorts). We really enjoyed our stay. Cristina and Paolo where very welcoming and helpful in any of our request as well as the all staff.

Christina and Paolo were nice and welcoming host who were very helpful and made our trip very memorable. I love Jambiani. This our first trip to Zanzibar in Tanzania. The hotel is right by the beach with lovely sceneries is the ebb and flood that dominates and rules the life of the sea in Jambiani. I love Africa
