Great place on the beach, Steve was a great host and very helpful/flexible before, during and after our stay. Sea food was excellent (reported by seasonaires to be the best around) but being so fresh be prepared to wait a while, it's worth it, especially the BBQ. Great mix of tourist comforts and secluded location make it the place to... More

I visited Pakachi twice during my 3 month stay in Tanzania. The first time was the beginning of my holiday in March when we got lost driving and stumbled upon this place. Lovely find - Steve and Angela were very welcoming and helped us find our way round and we also had some delicious food there made from local ingredients.... More

The service is great, the food is delicious, the location is perfect. We went to Jambiani , Kuumbi cave, Paje and Bwejuu by bike. It is also close to Jozani... More

We were spending here almost two weeks with my boyfriend. The enviroment was exactly what we wanted, eco-style bungalows with ocean view, small pool with salt water and cute outside restaurant with fresh, local, delicious foods. I haven't seen anywhere so nice stuff people than here, always taking care of us. But I have to say that best part of... More

Pakachi Beach resort is a gem-like little hideout between Jambiani and Paje which are both withGEain a short walking distance. We, a family of 4, were in Pakachi for 2 weeks in February, where we had a 2 story bungalow that was right on the beach. Though it was a relatively basic accommodation, it was clean and adequate. The owners,... More

Steve and Angela and their staff are wonderful an made us feel very much at home. - Rooms are basic but super clean - not the Hilton, but great value for money! The huts (Bandas) at the beach are beautiful (but more expensive than the rooms). -... More

My family and me spent 4 days in Pakachi Beache Hotel. A banda on the beach, to sleep with the fantastic sound of the ocean and a good breeze. Clean rooms, clean swimming-pool. Staff was really friendly and warm with us and our child. Steve and Angela are really kind. Steve helped us to organize different tours around the island,... More

We booked to stay at Pakachi for one night but ended up spending the remainder of our holiday there. We had been moving round the island and had stayed in three other hotels and this was by far our best experience. Steve, the owner greeted us by name and the staff were all exceptionally welcoming. After a courtesy welcome drink we... More
