We travelled from Etosha and were very thankful to arrive at Zelda's Guest Farm at 4.30. We paid $ 200 for the large grassy campsite. This was the cheapest accommodation of our 3 week Namibian trip. After a swim in their beautiful pool, we joined some other tourists for a humorous and informative tour of some unusual animals, including two... More

very dated now and over priced for what was on offer. pity as it is a nice and convenient location. unfortunately the whole place looks in need of a total revamp - old beds, old showers and generally just a very tired appearance. Food was pretty good, but again at a price. Camp sites looked reasonable and equipped but we... More

Staff was very friendly and informed us of the unexpected closure of the lodge at 9 the next morning but we still opted to stay there. The room was clean but everything was old and only 1 bed had a mosquito net (we booked for 2 people) It was summer and hot but the sliding door does not have mosquito... More

We have been stopping off at Zelda's for the past 15 years as it is an ideal stopover when travelling between Johannesburg and Etosha. Yes, the furniture is very much dated but that gives Zelda's it's charm. Their desserts are so unimaginative (they use boxed desserts like jelly) and some of the rooms need a little maintenance but that's where... More

An amazing place! It is definatley not new and moderm but very quirky. We camped and had a lovely campsite. There is lots for kids to do and see. The guided walk with the ranger feeding the animals was great. Everything is well looked after and the staff were friendly. Wi-fi was dodgy but we would have stayed longer had... More

We camped at Zelda's Guest Farm in 2006 when we went to Moremi and Savuti in Botswana. This time we booked a room with dinner and breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but dated. We still had a good night's sleep. If you are used to luxury, then this is not the place for you. This is a game/hunting... More

The Camp sites at Zelda's are the best equipped we encountered in our trip. They are shady, spacious and grassed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Meeting Piet the porcupine was very special - as I had never seen one before. It's an ideal stopover spot.

Zelda's Guest farm has been recommended by friends. We arrived late on a Friday afternoon. The staff at reception was unfriendly and because we did not book they said we cannot have dinner as they only cater for people that booked. There was no effort to even try and accommodate us. The room are dated and general maintenance lacking. To... More

Though I can't really fault the place, I was happy to leave. The rooms are spacious and have all the basics, aircon and ceiling fans, no TV. To say that the rooms are dated is an understatement. The beds are not comfortable and is most definitely way passed the "use by date". The grounds are big and very well kept,... More
