My mom and I came into town late and were recommended this B&B at a local cafe. The owner welcomed us in. The place is nicely set up and very clean. The owner friendly and knowledgeable about local area.

Really friendly host with lots of local knowledge. He has a selection of menus from local restaurants for all budgets and booked us a table. The room was clean and comfortable. The company that booked for us said that the room was ensuite which it wasn't, but there are multiple bathrooms and we never had to wait for one. I...

Just returned from a wonderful two day stay at The Mahaar. Alan was welcoming from the moment we arrived and went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Every room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was just delicious. Best haggis and black pudding we have ever had. The host really cares about his guests and was so helpful...

Stayed one night as a couple of days biking in Fort William. Alan ( Owner) was very friendly, extremely helpful and very accommodating. I had came back quite late from biking and the owner took it upon himself to phone a local hotel as I came in the door to book a table for me. Rooms have all you need...

We stayed here for two nights on the Great Glen Way. Having a dog was causing problems with finding accomodation and the host offered us pick ups and drop offs which meant we were able to base ourselves in the town for a longer period. The rooms were clean but be aware the bathroom and toilets are shared. The host...

The fellow was very helpful and the home was very clean. He offered a wonderful breakfast that was included and for a small fee, he could make you a lunch, which was great for the next day hike. The B&B was 3-4 miles from the end of the hiking trail and you can arrange for a lift for a small...

Have been here a number of times over the years and it is still lovely. Alan does great breakfasts and knows so much of the local area. He is a mine of information. Area is quiet and peaceful. Worth the visit.

This is a great B&B! Alan picked us from the Great Glen Way and was incredibly friendly. He gave us tons of wonderful information about the area and even stopped by the memorial with us on the return trip in the morning. The rooms are simple, you share two bathrooms, and you can hear quite a bit through the walls....

Rooms are pretty basic but for the price you cannot complain at that. They were clean and functional, even if there weren't en-suite facilities, which personally would probably stop me going back. Breakfast choices were happily catered for but I was a bit surprised at being 'told off' for not being quieter closing the lock on the bedroom door! I'm...

This neat little B&B is located just behind the main street in Spean Bridge. Hosts will pick up & drop off walkers doing the Great Glen Way (as there is nowhere to stay on the route). Happy to answer any questions or give advice on the area. Single room was small and basic but clean & comfortable. Free wifi. TV...
