We stayed overnight at this hotel on our way back home from Ullapool where there were no B&Bs with vacancies. Tried a number of hotels along the road and this was the first one that a room available. Although a room and bed was very welcome at 9 o'clock at night, this is not the most luxurious of establishments. The...

we stayed here for a night, whilst doing the great glen way, in one of the chalets to the rear of the hotel...for a stop over it was okay, clean and spacious for three of us... have to say that the hotel does look a bit tired regarding decor but it didn't really bother me as we had a great...

Stayed here June 15th. Staff barely have a grip on basic English which results in frustration and miss understandings weather it's checking in or ordering food. Overpriced for what you get from service, accommodation and food quality. Would avoid at all costs. Sleep on a park bench would be preferable.

We stayed one night at the start of a wonderful tour of the highlands and islands. They had recently had a fire and the main dining room is being rebuilt, so we had to make allowances for this. The shower fitting was coming out of the wall so was unusable, the bath hot water was only a trickle so we...

Our team was staying here before undertaking the caledonian challenge,we were needing good food and rest prior to the event but would have been better camping ! Absolutely shocking hotel, terrible food, service, major communication problems with foreign staff, there isn't much more I can say other than avoid at all costs !!!!

The hotel has a prominent position in the village - which is a shame because it does little to promote it. The exterior is scruffy, the bar is tired and dated and the food was bland even though it wasn't much cheaper than a quality restaurant we ate in the following evening. Having said that we found the staff quite...

booked this Hotel 5 March and they cancelled our booking 10 days before we were due to arrive. Just as well we had not left Australia as we still had access to our emails. we then had trouble finding a booking at the last minute.

We just happened to be driving along wondering where to stay and spotted the hotel. Pulled up and had a quick look about, everthing looked good. Checked into a good size room, en suite, sofa & all the usuals. went for a great walk up through the woods and back. Worked up an appetite which was easily satisfied in the...

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. Its very close to Ben Nevis and fort William and pretty decent hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was very neat and clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast too was decent.

We arrived for the weekend with my friends and this place above our expectations. Very good location, the atmosphere fullfilled with history and a friendly staff awaited for us. The Nevis in the near, so we decided to take a trip to the top. It wasn't easy, the panoramic view from there is absolut worth that five hours.
