We dropped in for dinner as we are up here on holiday and we're very pleasantly suprised. We had the Haggis starter and salmon main and they were gorgeous. The price was very reasonable. All in all the hotel also seemed to be very efficiency and we'll run amd had a family feel to it. Wish we'd discovered this 2...

A satisfactory experience overall. Stayed for 2 nights b&b with dinners taken here too (not many options in area, especially without a car to get around!). The rooms are small and basic, fine for a couple of nights. They do feature the dreaded electric shower though, and water pressure is too low for a good shower. Soap dispensers were unpleasant...

Stayed overnight with business. The room was very nice, comfy bed, nice shower and lots of room. The evening meal (fish and chips) was nicely cooked and service was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was very nicely cooked with decent ingredients. All in all a very nice experience.

Firstly this review is 100% genuine. I have stayed here recently and found the hotel to be well located comfortable, friendly, and pleasant. The restaurant food was in my opion above average. My stay was made very pleasant by a lovely waitress called Pat who is a diamond! I would not hesitate to stay here again.Well done.

A surprise treat for my birthday, a double room (dog friendly) booked and a lovely evening meal, room very clean. Very friendly staff and our dog was welcomed and made a big fuss of. A good hearty breakfast, the only thing I would change is to offer fresh coffee rather than instant coffee for breakfast.

Stopped for lunch in the bar which is typically Scottish and very "retro" in feel but also has a real charm. Warm Welcome, Cold Beer, Home made food that was really good and definitely made with care and love. Great Price and of course in a stunning part of the country. Recommended.

We booked a superior room for two nights, it was the most expensive room with breakfast of our trip though no better the other hotels we used. The room was nice, clean and bright. Large comfortable bed. Shower wasn't great but it was hot. Staff were mostly friendly and chatty, but I was a little put out with the attitude...

I run a motorcycle training and touring company based in Cardiff and I chose this hotel to accommodate a group of a dozen riders. From the very first contact - emails and phone calls, right up to our final checkout, they couldn't do enough for us. This was fantastic and very encouraging. I had booked a two night stay to...
