We had a 2 night stay in what was said to be the best room in the hotel and it was beautiful. Old hotel but room was very tasteful and in keeping with a wonderful bay window overlooking the sea. Thank you

Booked this Hotel, at a bargain price, it is really lovely, on seafront, rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, cant fault at all. The staff are so friendly, in reception and restaurant, lovely meals, reasonable prices, and the breakfast, Wow so much to choose from.

The hotel overlooked the harbour and the beach and had a large patio area for outside eats and drinks. I thought that they had designed it well and made the best of their position in the resort. The hotel is an old hotel but well renovated inside and out. It is in the centre of the town and ideally placed...

I have just been treated to a weekend away at the Royal Albion for my 65th birthday. The hotel has a superb central seafront location and is picturesque. Our room had a terrific view over Viking Bay, and when lying on the bed we still had an amazing panoramic view of the sea. We enjoy eating and drinking outside whenever...

We booked into The Albion for a family celebration in Broadstairs and managed to catch the Food Festival - a lucky coincidence. We weren't strangers having previously dined at The Albion and enjoyed the bar facilities but is was the first time that we'd stayed as guests. We were not disappointed. The room was lovely and well appointed. Great tea/coffee/biscuits...

We booked on the day through laterooms and got an absolute bargain. The room was lovely, cosy and clean with great facilities and a nice bathroom en suite with luxury bathing products, but the icing on the cake was the beautiful panoramic views of the beachfront from the room itself. The food in the restaurant was also lovely, we enjoyed...

On arrival I was pleased to be upgraded to a superior room with a large bathroom that contained a huge bath with a hand held shower and also a separate shower. The room itself was large and the double bed more than adequately comfortable. The view of Viking Bay was tremendous. The cold breakfast offering included plenty of fruit and...

I stayed with my sisters for a short weekend break. We had a twin room and two singles. The general opinion is this is a lovely hotel with great breakfast and friendly staff. The bar in the evening was popular and a pleasant place to enjoy an evening drink. There is a terrace with lovely views over Viking bay where...

Shepherd Neame have spent a lot of money sympathetically refurbishing this late Georgian hotel right on the seafront. There are no lifts, air-con or other mod cons, the plumbing is slightly wonky, and the rooms are small. However everything is very tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and furnished comfortably. The seaview is fabulous, and if you can get one of the...
