Excellent price / quality ratio, normal rooms for a very low price, and even good breakfast is included. Near the entrance to the hotel is some sort of mini flea market so hotel doesn't look neat. Do not be afraid, is a very good and clean hotel, despite a bit unpresentable view from the street. Bike friendly, no problem with... More

The management is extremely helpful and friendly. The room was warm and the water hot. The bathroom is a little tired but functions well enough. The bed was confortble although again no duvet, just blankets. There was a big balcony and a bit of a view. A pity about the lighting . The town is extremely boring, though make sure... More

We stayed here for 1 night on an off-road motorcycle holiday. There is safe parking in an underground garage. The room was spacious, very clean and modern with a lovely bathroom and little balcony. Breakfast was great with more food than you could eat. The owners were very friendly and helpful, were not bothered by our dusty kit and clothes.... More

One night stay in this very well kept hotel. The room had everything that we needed and although the temp was in the 30's we didn't suffer from not having A/c as the room was cool. The owners were helpful and friendly. A great experience for us and the kids.

A nice big room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and good value including a simple but adequate breakfast. Would have expected air conditioning. There is air con in the hallway, and presumably other rooms because there was a big air conditioning unit blowing hot air on my balcony! I came here on a cycling trip to say I'd been to Portugal.... A lovely town with this hotel at its centre. Limited secure parking underneath adequate for bikes. No evening meals and a simple but reasonable breakfast. No shortage of restaurants nearby. The rooms are quite dated and the showers could do with an overhaul but still good value for money.

Large rooms, clean and in good condition. The couple who takes care is very friendly and helpful and it is seen that likes to have guests. The breakfast is poor and very basic and should be improved. If you want to visit Miranda do Douro choose another day other than Sunday, because most shops are closed.

we had a family room for 4, so it was a bit cramped. Double room would probably have been fine. View would have been nice, over the douros river, but someone had started building an apartment block just outside our window. Nice balcony, the owners were friendly, pleasant breakfast. Nothing wrong with it, and it was fine for a night... More
