Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

What can we say...if Carlsberg did B&Bs, this would be it. Everything was beyond our expectations, bedrooms very comfortable and well equipped with extras (water, tea/coffee, biscuits), breakfast was beautiful, so much to choose from and exceptional hot food too. Plenty of everything. A warm welcoming host and breathtaking scenery all around. Ours was the first of many stays at this property.

Had a one night stay in this lovely rural B&B. It's a traditional bungalow with modernised bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is spotlessly clean throughout. We got a lovely warm welcome from Maureen. Breakfast was fabulous with fresh fruit on the table, all different cereals, the full Irish which was as big as we've ever had - really set us up for the day cycling the greenway

We have had a wonderful week with Maureen and Tony. Nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful ramp was made to access the bungalow due to my immobility. Food was fantastic plus we were able to avail of microwave facilities in the evenings. We used the line for drying bathers etc and availed of the comfortable lounge with massive tv in the evenings. Maureen is a feeder and likes to see her guests well provided for. The resident fox was a highlight. The garden is absolutely beautiful and although the weather was far from perfect we had a great time. Can’t wait to return next year.

My friend and I stayed here the night before we went to hike Coumshingaun. The owners were so kind and provided excellent recommendations for places to go for dinner as well as easy directions to get there. In the morning we ate an absolutely delicious Irish breakfast that fueled us for long day of hiking!

Our stay at Comeragh View far exceeded our expectations. Due to a lack of availability as a result of the bank holiday weekend, we selected this B&B. We were a bit reluctant because of the distance from Waterford and because the picture on the website looked like a mobile home. We were very pleasantly surprised. They are situated in a beautiful area about 10 minutes walk from the sea. Stradbally is a beautiful village with wonderfully friendly people. Our hosts were very kind. They fetched us when we got lost and could find them, and they were very helpful during our stay, advising us of places to go and places to see. It was a wonderful visit from start to finish, from the beautiful scenery to the great breakfast, to the friendliness of the host and the people in the village. My only recommendation is to change the pictures on your website!! You have a lot of beautiful scenery to show and your house is wonderful.

The next B & B on our stop was Comeragh View in Stradbally, Co. Waterford. Mrs. Maureen Reynolds and her husband Tony were our hosts at Comeragh View Bed and Breakfast. She made us feel extremely welcomed with all the little things she did for us. She provided us with items stated on her website plus more. The room was just as promised but with extras such as cotton balls/pads and tissue box. She also put in bottles of chilled bottled spring water and milk in our room in the evening in case we needed water or tea. The breakfast was fabulous!! She didn't promise us grapefruit and orange juices but she had them and so many kinds of cereal that 2 of my sons opted out of hot breakfast so they could sample her cereals. There were plenty of bread and toast. We each had our own jugs of milk for our cereal and tea. She was so concerned with the boys not eating the traditional Irish breakfast that she was offering them cheese or whatever they would eat. She also offered us Irish coffee in the evenings! We felt so welcomed and comfortable with Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds that we went back to the B & B in the afternoon just to have tea and chatted with them. One can't help but feel that Mrs. Maureen Reynolds truly cares about her guests and wants them to feel welcome and at home.

We stayed at 7 different B & Bs in the last 2 weeks and Mrs. Maureen Reynolds of Comeragh View shown us one of the best Ireland has to offer.

Visited Dungarven for a short break and to see family. Stayed at Comeragh View 3 nights. Not done B and B's for many years so a little unsure as to what to expect as standards and expectations are high nowadays. We arrived a little late (2115) but from the moment we walked through the front door we knew we'd made a good choice. Very warm welcome, settled into our room and then a welcome coffee/tea and cake. Room was excellent with nice little touches like a little sweet bowl in the bedroom and make-up wipes in the bathroom. Tea/Coffee, hairdryer. shampoo and shower gel all provided. Breakfast was traditional, full and hearty. You can have fruit juice, cereal, "full Irish", toast, tea and coffee or any combination of. Hosts Maureen and Tony were extremely friendly and helpful. You can see the Greenaway and the coast from the B and B and it's an easy 8 to 10 minute straight run along the coast to Dungarven. This isn't a modern, minimal hotel so if that's what you are seeking it's probably not for you but as a traditional, warm and welcoming B and B it is excellent and we won't hesitate to come back if we pass through this area again.

Maureen and Tony are so homely and welcoming. We had such an enjoyable and fun time staying at their superb b & b. The breakfasts were something to behold. Would I go again, YOU BET I WOULD. I thoroughly recommend this b & b to anyone wanting to visit the beautiful South coast of Ireland.
