A lovely bed and breakfast, Maureen is a wonderful host, the rooms are so comfy and the breakfasts are absolutely delicious cooked freshly we definitely would return when we visit Dungarven again sometime.
We stayed there in early July 2021. It was an ideal base for cycling the Waterford Greenway and exploring West Waterford. Very comfortable accommodation and Maureen set us up with a hearty breakfast each morning! We would highly recommend.
Had a one night stay in this lovely rural B&B. It's a traditional bungalow with modernised bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is spotlessly clean throughout. We got a lovely warm welcome from Maureen. Breakfast was fabulous with fresh fruit on the table, all different cereals, the full Irish which was as big as we've ever had - really set us up for the day cycling the greenway
What can we say...if Carlsberg did B&Bs, this would be it. Everything was beyond our expectations, bedrooms very comfortable and well equipped with extras (water, tea/coffee, biscuits), breakfast was beautiful, so much to choose from and exceptional hot food too. Plenty of everything. A warm welcoming host and breathtaking scenery all around. Ours was the first of many stays at this property.
Very comfortable B & B with friendly owners - full Irish breakfast - the owner booked us into a restaurant because being a Friday night, it was unlikely we would be able to get a table without a reservation.
Visited Dungarven for a short break and to see family. Stayed at Comeragh View 3 nights. Not done B and B's for many years so a little unsure as to what to expect as standards and expectations are high nowadays. We arrived a little late (2115) but from the moment we walked through the front door we knew we'd made a good choice. Very warm welcome, settled into our room and then a welcome coffee/tea and cake. Room was excellent with nice little touches like a little sweet bowl in the bedroom and make-up wipes in the bathroom. Tea/Coffee, hairdryer. shampoo and shower gel all provided. Breakfast was traditional, full and hearty. You can have fruit juice, cereal, "full Irish", toast, tea and coffee or any combination of. Hosts Maureen and Tony were extremely friendly and helpful. You can see the Greenaway and the coast from the B and B and it's an easy 8 to 10 minute straight run along the coast to Dungarven. This isn't a modern, minimal hotel so if that's what you are seeking it's probably not for you but as a traditional, warm and welcoming B and B it is excellent and we won't hesitate to come back if we pass through this area again.…
My wife and I had a great stay here. We had a great laugh with Maureen who made us feel at home. They couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast is great and fills you for the day. The BnB is right beside the green way cycle route and down a lovely backroad that leads to a coast road and headland! We got loads of travel tips and local information from Maureen too. Highly recommended place to stay.
You guys should definitely visit this place! The rooms are warm and cozy and equipped with all the stuff you need. The breakfast is great. There are stunning places all around the B&B. We've been at Comeragh View three times and can't wait the opportunity for the next visit
We stayed at this nice B&B for one night in mid-September. The hostess, Maureen, was very friendly and welcoming. We asked for dinner recommendations and she suggested The Moorings in Dungarvan. We were not disappointed! Our room was very clean and comfortable (although it was on the small side - perhaps other rooms in the B&B were larger). The B&B is well off the main roads so was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious. My wife enjoyed the scrambled eggs and insisted that they were the best that she had ever had!
Maureen and Tony couldn't have been more hospitable! Their home is so typically Irish and cozy, set in a rural setting which isn't too far from the town where you can get a bite and a pint. Our room was super clean. The bath towels were thick and the soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower was a nice touch. Breakfast was generous and divine. Be sure to take a walk along the old railroad tracks not far from the house. You won't go wrong if you book Cameragh View!
