Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just back from a 3 night weekend stay here in our caravan. Was delighted to get in before the 14 night min stay kicked in. We only live an hour away so I know the area and site well but I was still very impressed. It’s definitely the biggest site we’ve ever stayed in. Made up mostly of mobile homes but also a lot of space for campervans caravans and tents. We were J7 which was right on the edge of the park very close to the beach, beautiful. It really is a spotlessly clean site,so well maintained. The hotel is gone now,it’s used for direct provision and there is only one shop left. It has everything you need though and a takeaway. The site has a games room, crazy golf and a really good playground. Bins were sometimes hard to find and as far as I could find the campers kitchen was just sinks and a fridge freezer which I thought was strange. Me and my husband loved the site but my 9 and 5 year old found it so big that it was hard to make friends. There’s usually one big central green area where they all meet up but that wasn’t there, that’s the only reason I gave it 4. I would definitely go back.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of all the facilities. Regular cleaning occurs throughout the day. The overall site is well maintained and it’s clear that the owners take pride in their offering. We have young children and we felt safe with them. The playground is well equipped and they loved it! The location right next to the seaside was fantastic. We couldn’t fault it and in fact travelled to stay there a second weekend this month as we love it there! We are already planning our next return visit!

Be careful if you were planning on turning up for a stay here. They don't take bookings so normally you just turn up and book in but now have 4 week minimum stay here. No website or any info anywhere stating this. So if you turn up for a short stay you will get a surprise. They really need to get with the times and get a proper website

This is an amazing clean and friendly campsite. It’s strict and has lots of rules which I like. No noise after 11 which is great when you have kids. Right on to beach and Waterford Greenway a few mins cycle away. It has a cycle track right from Casey’s into Dungarvan, mostly off main road so very safe for families. Highly recommend

Arrived with our three children - five year old and twins aged three and a half - and had the best time ever. The campsite is so well run - toilets spotless, kitchen facilities and shower rooms always available and again spotless. Reception staff are so friendly and helpful. Playground is very central and safety rules are observed. Congratulations to Mr Casey and his family for providing such a wonderful holiday amenity for families to enjoy. We stayed for several weeks and the children didn’t want to leave. It is a perfect environment for children to enjoy the beach, water games, playground and cycle their bikes in safety. The football field is a great option to use up any extra energy - particularly for the boys. We felt safe there at all times - not a sound to be heard after 11 pm. We are already planning our return for next summer.

This was our third year returning to Casey's. It is a very well run site. Facilities are great and very clean. Good size pitches. The reason I deducted one star: They don't take bookings which makes the first day of the trip very stressful. I would be willing to pay full fee in advance. There is very little security presence during the evening time. Several kids with bottles attached to their bycicles were making quite a lot of noise for a couple of hours every day we were there. Overall Casey's is a fantastic campsite to visit. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach and also to the Greenway. The staff are very friendly and very good at their job.

I'd read some negative reviews about this Campsite and to be honest I really cannot see how anybody could fault it!! From when we arrived to when we left we had a great time. The staff, the location and the park itself was just brilliant. It's spotless, safe and well run, we cannot wait to go back. Thanks Casey's 🙂

This is probably the biggest campsite we have stayed at. I stayed here with my wife & 2 kids (6&7) in mid August for 4 nights. Forget about the negative reviews in relation to the rules & regulations. It's a big site with some very basic common sense rules. We were fortunate to get a pitch with electric hook up so overall cost per night was €39. Well worth it as this site is very well maintained. Playground is very secure with visible CCTV. Toilets & showers are spotless. Very impressed with the kids' shower area with plenty of room to shower & change them. Some reviewers have complained about the cost... well, you get what you pay for. Here, you can see that the money goes into maintaining the site for the enjoyment of everyone. I suspect the same people may complain about the state of facilities at other less expensive sites. Will definitely return. A must for young families who like to camp!

Stayed a week on run up to August bank holiday weekend. All I can say this site never fails to impress. This is our 5th time staying at this campsite. Family friendly site next to beach with greenway on its door 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️.The campsite was very busy. There are 2 toilet blocks and were always spotless. Cleaning starts at 5.30am 👌 Stayed with tent on lower section. One has option of pitch with or without electric and there is overflow camping facility. One small annoyance is the amount of unchecked kids on bikes 😢 One even fell from his bike on our last night as he hit our tent guy line. Management need to review this before there is an accident. This little annoyance did not dampen our stay and will be deffo back next year👍. Lastly well deserved thank you to all helpful staff and cleaning crew....the place is a credit to ye all 👊👌
