Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place to meet up with friends for coffee but seems to be only open at weekends lately. Centrally located ideal spot if waiting for a bus, bus stop just outside front door. Parking at rear and outdoor sitting too.

43 students and 6 supervisors very happy with the fantastic welcome and service by all staff. The rooms were so clean and modern. Full Irish breakfast was delicious. All requests were accommodated without hesitation. Fully recommend this hostel and will be returning.

This is a luxury hostel. It is immaculately clean. The reception area is spacious. There is a comfortable sitting room with a well stocked book case to the right of the reception and a cafe to the left.
On the first floor there is a spacious kitchen and a laundry room. I stayed in a 10 bed dormitory which I had all to myself. It had an ensuite and there was a shower room nearby also. The beds were all dressed in white with lovely soft duvets. There were storage sliding drawers under the beds.
All the staff members I talked to appear to be very happy to work there. They were very friendly and kind. I slept so well and went home feeling relaxed and refreshed.
A wonderful place.

I made a simple request to one female member of staff. i wanted a large ice cream cone. She disappeared into the back of the building and reappeared with a large container of what appeared to be iced water. She did not offer it to me. Then she sent out a male member of staff. He did no ask me what i wanted- he presumed i wanted a 99. he never asked me. When he handed me a 99 - i asked him what had I asked for? he didn't know.
He then proceeded to offer me the change which would have been due to me if i had been given a large ice cream cone.
if this is the chaotic way in which the business is managed- i will never go there again.

We had a lovely brunch in the hostel. It is a beautiful building, restored in a modern but uncompromising way. We had three adults and three children and as anybody with children knows it is the satisfaction of the children that counts more than anything!!! Needless to say all three kids were more than happy. Having worked out what they will have the next time.......warm chocolate muffin with ice cream.....sorry Mum n Dad but it is a treat 🤨
But to be fair the adults were very happy too, even if I had to share my scrambled eggs!!!!
Thanks Mark and all the guys, well done, thank you so much.
I would love to be on holidays here and staying in the hostel!!! (But we are very lucky locals😃)
