Our first B&B in Ireland, actually for our entire month-long tour of the British Isles, was at the Farmlodge B&B. Our first host, was Bernie. We arrived, somewhat windblown, on the day of the "Big Storm" of Wednesday, Sept. 19. The house is set on one of the most beautiful areas of Ireland. The farm starts at the road, then continues down to meet the sea. Absolutely stunning.....as was the host. Upon arrival, we were met with a warm handshake and a glowing smile. Instantly we felt comfortable and welcomed. Bernie showed us to our spacious room and private bathroom. Both immaculate. There were snacks available 24 hours in the breakfast room. Bernie was very helpful in suggesting someplace for dinner. The B&B is only about 2 miles from the Dungarvan marina and rest./shops. There is a promenade walk to the marina. We ate at the Moorings, which was delicious. Thank you Bernie. We have always compared the rest of our B&B stays to yours....... and you always come out on top!!!!!!!!…

If you are looking for true Irish hospitality, the Farmlodge Bed and Breakfast is for you! We were greeted by the owner Bernie, she is an absolute lovely person. She runs a very clean bed & breakfast and a great breakfast. We were able to walk around to see the horses in the field that overlooks a bay. I took some beautiful photos walking the grounds. Bernie was also helpful giving us information to visit the local establishments about 10 minutes away. Dungarvan ended up being one of our favorite stops along the way. Hopefully we will be back some day.

I stayed here for 2 nights. It was above expectations. Bernie is a lovely lady, who loves her home & her job. She went out of her way to make sure I knew of all the attractions in the area. Rooms are well appointed, clean, great power shower. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Bernie is a great Irish ambassador for Ireland.

Booked last minute while on a trip to Dungarvan. Easy to find, just 5mins from town centre. Very friendly owner. Clean and comfortable. Booking a taxi and restaurant reservations for us wasn't a problem. Good breakfast

I booked here online and had to contact the owner quite a few times and she always replied promptly and was always ready to help. I had asked her for a special request as we visited for my boyfriend's birthday and she went out of her way and was happy to help! Very cheerful and helpful and informative. Breakfast was very tasty and a good selection! The property is beautiful both the spacious room as well as the dining area. 5 stars from me! Would definitely recommend.

Just an overnight stop but really lovely place to stay. 5 mins drive into town, quiet location with plenty of room to park. The owner Bernie was great, very friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The accommodation is fab, very clean, lovely rooms and a wide choice of breakfast. Would recommend a stay here.
