I had a trip planned to Kerry in October and knew the drive would be a long one so opted to stay with Joe again at Dun Ard. It was my second visit to the gem of a B&B this time without my partner but I still opted for the luxurious option of the ground floor room. I know Joe...

We stopped here combining business with pleasure and it certainly was a pleasure staying here. Joe was very helpful especially on a Monday morning when I couldn't get WiFi and he set up a personnel link so I could stay in contact with work. Dungarven is a lovely seaside village with great restaurant's and staying at Dun Ard made it...

Dun Ard is situated 7 or so kilometres outside Dungarvan in a small estate. It's well signposted and easy to find. Your host is Joe and his wife. Very helpful and knowledgable. We were up on the first floor which is advertised as a junior suite worth ocean views. And it lived up to its name. Two windows, which could...

We were disappointed with Dun Ard's response to our emergency cancellation for one night B&B. Whilst we accept their right to charge a fee - we were very disappointed that they still charged us full rate which included 2 breakfasts and linen cleaning which were not taken or used. Compromise not on the agenda.

This guest cancelled at 17.50 on the day when there were 5,000 cyclists taking part in the Sean Kelly Cycle in our town. Can only presume that the guest got wet like all the other cyclists and decided to drive home. Guest did not cancel the room with Booking. Com and thereby did not allow the room to be released...

This is a fantastic place to stay. The attention to detail is meticulous. It is a light, airy and very comfortable home from home in a picturesque setting a couple of miles outside Dungarvan. Everything is crisp and clean, with such refinements as different light settings in the shower depending on your mood! It was our second stay and we...

We stayed in Dun Ard for four nights over the summer, and it was exactly what we were looking for - super comfortable bed, and a large, quiet room which had everything we needed. Joe and his wife couldn't have been more helpful, and didn't intrude upon us unnecessarily. Definitely the best B&B I've stayed in in a long time.

Had a great stay in this amazing B&B. Our room was on the ground floor with a massive really comfy bed. There was space for a sofa just in front of the smart tv, but the luxury touches were our own sauna and a double jacuzzi bath! Joe was very helpful recommending nearby restaurants and he provided us with an...

Stayed for three nights at this lovely B&B. Large room with small side window and velux ceiling windows. Joe the proprietor met us on arrival and helped with our luggage as we didn't appreciate the number of steps up to the entrance, he was very friendly and advised us where to eat and even called the establishment to make sure...

The house was the show house on the small estate that it is part of, so décor and furnishing are to a high standard Joe was very helpful in planning our trips around the countryside and for dinner suggestions The house is well placed for driving along the coast, either towards Waterford, or towards Cork. There are plenty of good...

We had booked a B&B in Tramore and between the congestion of a carnival in the town and not the most friendly welcome at our B&B, we decided to stay only one night and move on. As Irish luck would have it, there was a cancellation at the Dun Ard and we stayed there for one night. Joe and Anne...
