Just returned from Ireland, stayed 3 nights in this bed and breakfast. Michelle the owner is lovely, everything you could possibly want. Fantastic choice for breakfast, without a doubt would certainly recommend.

We came up for an event on a Saturday. Called ahead for the booking and Michelle couldn't have been more accommodating. When we arrived, we fell in love with the beautiful, homely interior and we were delighted with the bedrooms. Two very spacious, spotlessly clean bedrooms with plenty of amenities. The guest area featured a small micro kitchen with tea, coffee and more biscuits than you could eat. The rooms were beautiful, warm and cosy. We came back late and got up in the morning feeling a bit worse for wear but Michelle once again saved the day! Breakfast was amazing, the French toast and homemade butterscotch was astonishing. Because it was also a home, she was able to cure my hangover by offering disprin. Took a lie down before checkout and I was right as rain. We're gutted we couldn't stay longer and had to only stay over night. We're going out of our way to find things to do in Dungarven just to stay here. Thank you Michelle for making us feel so welcome!

I appreciate silence and this house was perfect. No traffic from cars or aircraft. The lady of the house is wonderful. I arrived having walked too far with a bad man flu and a cough that was painful, well she immediately gave me advice and medications that helped. The house was spotless clean and the breakfast was excellent. The room was well appointed and had an old Irish 70’s charm about it. I appreciate the attention and the discretion. I will definitely be back!

A spacious well appointed room, a warm welcome and at a very reasonable price. The location is close to the beach, the greenway and only 3 kms from Dungarvan. The small kitchen is a great additional extra

We have stayed at Barnawee Bridge b4 and the lady was good enough to sort us with their 2bed self catering apartment for the weekend as we were travelling with an elderly parent. We expected it to b the same as the main house but it was far from the same. On arrival I'm not certain she remembered with were even booked in. The apartment was cold and although she turned the heating on it didn't fire up and we ended up sorting ourselves. It was generally very disappointing. Although clean, bedding was old and crockery was old and tatty. A few mis-matched knives n forks and a few spoons. 2 bowls and a few mus-matched glasses in a place accommodating 4. We knew there was no breakfast included for for €250 for 2 nights, it wouldn't have cost much to leave a loaf of bread and a pint of milk. I would recommend they take the €250 And go to Dunnes and buy some new bedding & towels and some half decent crockery and cutlery. It would make a huge difference. On the plus side.... the views are amazing. If the question is.... why didn't we mention we weren't happy? We were not asked when leaving if everything was ok! She took the money and talked about the weather 🤔
