This was our second stay in two years and we were certainly not disappointed. Our three night stay was just perfect in room 1 - Serenissima. This ground floor room is on the garden side of the villa and is quite large with a lovely bathroom. Considering there is a main road to Venice along the Brenta Canal, we heard...

We wanted something that would give us easy access to Venice during our 4 day stay there, but felt less touristy. This was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were clean and elegant, the shower was excellent! We stayed during October so we didn't have any of the heating problems that were mentioned by other travelers. Instead we...

We chose to stay at this hotel as it is close to the house of friends we were to visit. It looked lovely on its website, but nothing prepared us for the real silk on the walls of our beautiful, tranquil room. Our car stayed parked during our whole visit because we were with our friends so I can't comment...

Positives: this is a nice-looking hotel, with free parking if you have a car. The breakfast is included in the price - it was fresh and good. It is 15 minutes drive from Venice (20 minutes if you take the bus). Diego, the receptionist, gave us good advice about driving instead of taking the bus. The negative, which was a...

We drove here from Venice airport (a short distance), stayed a week visiting Venice by bus for three days, then toured the area with the help of excellent advice from our host. The hotel looks even better in person, and the service was very good. There was a personal touch which ensured our having exactly the kind of holiday we...

Villa Dolcette is charming and provides personalized service. We drove here from Como, Italy on our road trip through Europe. As cars are not allowed in Venice, this is an excellent choice with secure parking available and a bus stop across the street, Venice is merely a short bus ride away. The managers even sell bus tickets and give excellent...

Great place to stay on our weekend trip to Venice. Very helpful owners who had plenty of advice on things to do etc. room was perfect for my wife and I and two children - plenty of space and very comfortable beds for all four of us. Would certainly stay here again if we ever go back to Venice !

The hotel is truly great and very well run. You will read all about it in every review. Those of us not driving, however, need to be mindful of its location. Venice is magic after dark, but its bus service is not... Buses to Oriago run hourly in the evening, and do not run after midnight. Also, the midnight ride...

Staying outside Venice sounded a little scary but, especially if you are driving, the reviews and the chance to be away from the tourist crowds as well as the price made it the best choice for visiting Venice. Lovely large room on garden (quieter), plentiful hot water, clean, and pretty were just the start. Friendly accurate advice and a breakfast...

My Aunt and Uncle recommended for my parents and fiance to stay here. And we were overly impressed. I'm glad we didn't stay in Venice, I would not have enjoyed lugging all my suitcases through the city and over the bridges. Anyways, it is not far from Venice at all, a short bus ride or car, I enjoyed both. The...
