This was a special treat for a significant birthday. We booked the least expensive "special room" through Visa Signature, which includes breakfast and an automatic upgrade. Our upgraded room was the Borgo Suite, a spacious suite with stunning views of the countryside. Yes, this place isn't cheap, but it was a wonderful experience. We did the Brunello tasting and the...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 7 September 2016 via mobile

I chose this hotel, and Tuscany as a result, to celebrate my 30th birthday with my husband. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The grounds are spectacular, and you truly feel like you are taking a step back from life's stresses to focus on what really matters. During our initial tour of the property, Luca from...

We just visited Castiglion and found it captivating. The view of the hills and surrounding area are beautiful and relaxing to look at. It is isolated but that added to the ambience. This small village has been completely redone by the Ferragamo family and nothing did not go unnoticed. They kept the original stone work and buildings and renovated those...

Ditto to all the great reviews posted by others. We're seasoned travelers and great fans of Rosewood hotels (this was our 5th), but this was our favorite vacation anywhere, anytime! We stayed four nights in early May (an excellent time to visit Tuscany), were upgraded to a suite - in fact, a 14th century cottage with sumptuous 21st century furnishings....

We stayed here in September 2016 for 5 glorious nights. The food and service were impeccable. Our Borgo Suite was huge and well-appointed, however the view wasn’t that great. The pool area was lovely and the service was good….view was spectacular! We enjoyed exploring the well-manicured grounds. The town of Montalcino is a short drive from the resort. We drove...

After searching hotels/resorts in Italy, I stumbled upon Castiglion Del Bosco and immediately knew it was the place I wanted to get married.
