Take care on the room you select. We went package with TUI and because we are used to high standard rooms with TUI we did not opt for an upgrade. Bad mistake because we ended up with a room at the back of the hotel on first floor but at eye level with the busy street where most of the traffic exits the village. There was a tiny balcony, but you would not wish to sit out on it as you were at eye level of the frequent exhaust fumes and the noise. The breakfast was poor. Alternate days of scrambled eggs/bacon or the next day a boiled egg as the only hot dishes. Room was clean and towel changes daily. Housekeeping was good. Best thing was the staff. They were excellent. Friendly faces and always willing to help. Indeed it was the staff’s performance which saved our holiday.

We stayed at hotel Corallo for one week. To be honest the room we had does not deserve the 4 stars that the hotel says. But the staff, especially Maurizio, is worth 5+ stars!! So kind and generous. The surrounding environment is breathtaking as well.

Just come back from a 7 day break. The staff were all very friendly, especially Maurtizio, at the bar and reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was very clean and good breakfast, that catered for all dietary requirements. We will definitely be going back.

Stayed here for 10 days towards the end of September. Nice hotel with very friendly & professional staff. Our room was a "Comfort Room" on the 2nd floor at the rear of the building, with a view of a local Castella & slight glimpse of the sea. Be sure to ask for a room on the 2nd floor if you are staying here in one of these rooms, as the view on the lower levels is screened by a wall & hedge making it gloomy. The comfort rooms are perfectly adequate, consisting of sleeping area small balcony and bathroom, the bathroom had a bath & shower, also equipped with a hairdryer, there is also a free safe, tv, fridge & wi-fi. The room was also cleaned every day. The only meals we had during our stay was breakfast, which was very well catered for with quite a variety, such as cold meats cheeses, pastries, cereal, plenty of choice of tea & coffee from a machine. There is a very nice view of the harbour from the breakfast area. The hotel has a small, but very nice pool at the front of the property, as well as 2 beaches within 2 minutes walk, be sure to bring your own towels, as there is a small charge to use hotel towels outside. We had use of a hire car during our 10 day stay, there isn't much to do in the village , so I would strongly recommend a car in order to explore the area. Several small restaurants are also close to the hotel. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel during our stay. I would recommend it.

Corallo hotel *** And that's being very very kind, very old building well maintained but tired and worn out, we had a superior room 60% view outstanding overlooking the harbour. 40% outhouse! If you know what I mean. Walls so thin you can hear everything from rooms away, bear I mind that they ALLOW DOGS in the rooms so all the mainland europeans who drive here bring their dogs! And they moan all day when left inside. The hotel is decorated like the eighties, drains in bathroom stink so bad that we had to run water to try to flush them, not good. The breakfast is dire, constantly run out of English tea and do not do toast at all, ok if you want a chocolate quason and fatty meat for breakfast great, but no hot food and cerial is tasteless. Wifi is so slow not worth having. Do not take smart chargers as electricity supply fluctuates so much that smartchargers turn themselves off. Had to buy new charger. Air conditioning so noisy that you had to turn off to sleep then on again when too hot. On the plus side it is clean and the staff are very accommodating, it's like they try to make up for the buildings shortcomings. Isola Rossa, ha had no investment for decades and it shows, very small resort with very little in it, absolutely nothing to do except sit on a crowded beach or drink.
