My husband, 6 year old son and I spent spent our ten year wedding anniversary and birthday here on a week long trip and we loved every minute. The entire resort was just beautiful to walk around, clean and green. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious and there were enough pools (and loungers!) to keep us and our son occupied for the week. There was tons of choice for food which was all absolutely delicious. Our son loved the evening entertainment and has asked to go back this year! He also loved the slides and water park area, and there were always additional activities to do, such as a family sports day one day and zorbing, and pool bingo. The staff were so, so friendly, in particular we wanted to give a shout out to Nikos Dimitropoulos who was the Operations Manager and who was always ready with a smile, high five and a chat for our little boy and made him feel really special. He is now referred to as "my friend Nikos in Rhodes" by our son! Nikos organised an amazing meal for my birthday in the sister hotel across the road where we were made a real fuss of, had the most excellent food and I was given a birthday cake with my name written on. Thanks again Nikos! The beach was only a short walk away, and although stony and the water choppy on the day we went, we still enjoyed it for a change of scene. We spent my birthday in Rhodes centre where we were spoilt by its beauty and choice of ice cream parlours! We absolutely loved this holiday and would highly recommend it for any young families.

Really nice hotel, located somewhat by itself, but you have everything you need inside the hotel area. I had all inclusive so I had all my meals at the hotel. Breakfast was good, lunch and dinner at the buffet was not that great. I would recommend to make a reservation in one of the three restaurants for dinner. This is a hotel for families with young children, so there will be a lot of noise at the pool and eating area. The man working in the pool bar at the pool where I was staying was really service minded and helpful.

We were a party of 4 myself and my friend with our two teenagers. Arrived around 5pm on 19th October, and were greeted by lovely friendly staff with a glass of fizz and orange for the teens. Check in was fast and easy, our cases were taken to our rooms straight away, so no waiting around. Our rooms were 3114 and 3115, we were happy to be next door to each other. The room had queen and a double bed and pool view balcony overlooking the activity area, we didn’t opt for the swim up room but wish we had. The rooms were cleaned daily and the mini fridge was also stocked daily (all included). Everywhere around the complex was clean and tidy. Food in the main buffet restaurant was great, lots of choice, my favorite was breakfast, so much choice, the freshly made waffles were amazing. We booked the Italian and American restaurant as soon as we checked in to make sure we definitely got a space, they were very good. One evening we were all a bit hungry around 23:00 with everything closed Marios kindly went out of his way to find us some sandwiches that were going spare. There is a snack bar open from -12-5 serving burgers, toasties, chips and more but the best place to toasties is Debbie’s food truck in the Relax area, she is lovely it was a pleasure to visit her every day, always smiling and chatty, and tommy the cat. The kids entertainment looked fun for the little ones, evening entertainment was good, Rachel was just amazing, I don’t know how she managed to keep her enthusiasm and energy going, but she did, my son loved her and desperately wanted to win the t-shirt with the singing/music competitions in the evening, maybe next year 😊 The water park was fun, slides were great, the lazy river was nice too. I have seen a lot of comments about the pools being freezing, I thought they were just right, there was a small pool where a lot of families with small children were, this pool was warm but we never went in there. Every single member of staff here was incredible, always greeting you, always happy and cheerful, nothing seemed too much for them, I wish I could remember more names but Anastasia needs a mention as she was so lovely and greeted everyone with a smile at the restaurant, Georgia was lovely too, the staff in the Irish bar were great, in fact all the staff were great!! We booked the boat trip to Lindos and an evening coach trip to Rhodes town. Both were great, the boat trip was amazing, stopping at Lindos the 3 stops on the way back to jump of the boat for a swim in the beautiful sea. We booked with the company opposite the hotel rather than Tui it was cheaper and was nice to help the local businesses. I just wish we had booked for longer, will definitely come back. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!!!

Myself, partner and 3 year old just arrived home from 11 nights at Holiday Village Atlantica Rhodes, so whilst everything is fresh in my mind, here’s an honest review! Hotel is quite big, with different sections : activity , relax and deluxe. Room : We stayed in the activity part and had a swim up room (room 2102) well worth the extra money! Childrens Safety barrier on terrace door. Sun beds on the terrace and direct access to the pool. Our terrace had the sun all day! (Not all the swim up rooms did) A king size bed and a double bed for the 3 of us was perfect! Minibar also re-stocked daily for free. (Try to request rooms 2101-2105 for sun and a more quiet part of the activity section) Food: We found the food quite repetitive but quality was always really good and plentiful. We would have preferred more traditional dishes but it seems they cater for the ‘standard British person’ a little too much. We ate out of the resort a few nights to break it up a bit. But there was something for everyone so this wasn’t a big problem for us. Staff: brilliant! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Lots of entertainment staff around doing activities for the children (and adults) from morning til night. Kids clubs were even still running past 8pm ! Evening entertainment on the stage area had lots of kids (and parents) involved! Pool: a few huge beautiful swimming pools, they are very cold though! My 3 year old was a little reluctant to get in. But once your in you get used to it pretty quickly. There is a smaller heated pool near the park! Splash park was fab! Everywhere is really clean and tidy and maintained well. Weather was perfect for mid October , around 26 every day, brilliant sunshine til 6pm. Chilly in evenings so bring a light jacket / jumper. Specially for little ones. Children receive a gift bag day after arrival with T-shirts , swim goggles etc which we thought was a lovely touch! Location: beach a short stroll away. Turn left out of activity reception and then left again. It’s a shingle beach with beautiful clear waters. Sea shoes recommended! We were amazed at the mountain goats so close by. Not too much around the area , but if you walk around 15 mins to eucalyptus St you’ll find more bars , shops and restaurants. Michels tarvana restaurant outside the hotel was really nice and fairly priced! Worth a visit. Plenty of ATM’s and bus stops around and a small supermarket directly opposite the hotel. The hotel uses a holiday village app to book the activities, spaces fill up fast so be quick. Such as high rope climbing etc A la carte restaurants are bookable on the Atlantic app but also book fast, go to reception to get booked in if you don’t get a space on the app. Would return to this hotel once our son is a little older and wants to participate in more activities , overall had a wonderful stay! Definitely book that swim up room !!! I’d class this hotel as a 4 star , based on other hotels we have stayed in previously.

HV Rhodes is a lovely hotel, clean and staff pleasant and friendly. On arrival we had a swift check in. We booked a swim up room so we could sit on the balcony, Next day we found that we had no sun on our balcony and as the pool was freezing 🥶we spoke with the reception team and they arranged a room swap for us on the Saturday by lunch time sat we still had no idea when we would change rooms so we went back to reception she was a little abrupt and informed me that we were told 7pm which we was not informed of, there were 3 empty rooms all day and I wish we had the option of upgrading and paying extra but we were not given that choice by the receptionist. Food was ok not much lots of pork and pasta I did have a couple of days with upset belly. There was themed restaurants in the complex but did not have the chance to try these as they were booked the whole Time we were there Which was disappointing. The lunch time food truck was brilliant and Debbie was amazing my son loved her. Entertainment was good if you had little ones. Rachael and the evening team were excellent my son especially enjoyed the evening entertainment more and really wanted to win a Russell the Brussels t-shirt. We would definitely come back to a holiday village but maybe try another one.

The sweetest personnel and a beautiful place with all the extras. Kolumbia harbur, tsambika beach and Linda’s all worthwhile trips to enjoy. The a la carte Restaurent’s at the hotel is highly recommendable. We enjoyed the deluxe area especially at dinner time. The main Restaurent is very noisy. 😉

Not 5*!! I have stayed at many hotels and I would definitely not rate this as a five star hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good range of activities for children. Rooms are somewhat clean, cleaner takes less than five minutes to clean a whole room. Soap given in a dispenser. No iron, no tissues, no change of bedding. Although there are 2 Al la carte restaurants, the booking system always shows up as no availability, reception staff said you must book at least 3 days before you’d like to make a reservation!! Buffet food was okay- but after a week we really fancied a change! Finally the night time entertainment-I don’t know if it was because we went off-peak but this was repeated every single evening, it was only on Saturday night we saw a local dance group. I definitely will not be booking to come back again! And would not recommend this hotel, we paid a fair price for an unfair deal!

Dear San M, Thank you for choosing the Atlantica Holiday Village for your holidays this summer and for taking time to share your thoughts and experience. As you surely can attest, we consistently receive excellent feedback, however we do regret to read your holiday was not up to your expectations. It is very important to us though to thoroughly review less positive comments to further improve the product and services of our hotel as it is our aim to provide the best guest service and to continuously improve ourselves. The few points you have raised will be passed on to the relevant departments. Once again thank you for your review and we hope you will give us a chance in the future to welcome you again. ATLANTICA HOLIDAY VILLAGE RHODES Landed in the rain, but having checked weather apps, we knew things should brighten up tomorrow or day after latest. Met by two smiling staff that were eager to help. Check and quick and smooth. You’ll need 3 apps: First choice (even though we booked through TUI and have their app’.) Holiday Villages Atlantica Hotels Given room 1117 that was just up the stairs (lift was available) from reception. It was an accessible room that we hadn’t booked. The toilet was high, the wash basin was low and the shower was more wet room style with no screen. Preempting the whole bathroom becoming an additional swimming pool, we decided to head back to reception to query this. Initially told we must have requested this, the receptionist then went to speak to the lady from Guest Services. She returned to say all ’shower only’ rooms were like this. Not convinced (as it’s not been mentioned in the many reviews) I’ve read) we spoke to Guest Services ourselves who said we could have a different room after breakfast tomorrow. Not ideal to not be able to unpack and settle in, but at least a resolution and we were dealt with politely. The restaurant was being kept open until 1am for the late arrivals which was welcome news, but unfortunately all that was on offer was some dried up spaghetti and lukewarm sauce. It’s really not been a good start and I’ve gone to bed wondering what the hell I’ve done booking this place, which does not seem to match up to the other reviews at all. The following morning we went for an explore around the ‘village.’ All looks nice and clean, just left a bit drab after the rain. The tunnel between the areas stinks (and continued to stink for a few days while it dried out.) Great facilities for YOUNG children. Harly anything for our 'tween.’ We did ask one of the Holiday Village lads in reception, but they said teens just go to the Kids Club. Later in the week, all of us had a go at archery, but only got 4 arrows each due to numbers. Instructor was good though. Friendly, safety conscious and fun. The pools look great. We always managed to get sunbeds somewhere. Can see it being a problem in high season as not a lot of space as the umbrellas are fixed to the floor so you can’t ’sqidge’ things up. It’s October and the pools are freezing! I gave up after dangling my legs in. I did brave the lazy river, but again, too cold so I couldn’t face the slides. My daughter did and enjoyed them. I also used the indoor pool once. No activities for kids if it rains, so if you’re going out of main season, worth bearing in mind. ROOM Moved to another room which was much more suitable and the porters moved our things for us. All very efficient. Now overlooking noisy activity area. We actually really liked being able to hear the music and atmosphere from our room and often opened the door for this reason, but it might not be for everyone. Really liked that the third bed in the room is a proper bed rather than sofa bed. Plenty of good sized towels provided. No gowns/slippers as I’d expect for 5*. Clean. Plenty of hanging space. Minibar fridge provided and restocked daily as part of all inclusive which was really appreciated. GYM/SPA AREA Gym looks nice, indoor pool ok, but small. Spa is operated by a different company. No price list and they like to sit down and go through telling you what the treatments are before telling you the prices (which are pretty high for what is offered.) It all feels a bit hard sell. Had a full body massage that was good and the therapist was very friendly, kind and professional. RESTAURANT Went to the West Bites which was a lovely change from the buffet. Food was better than expected and staff were friendly and efficient. There were lots of empty tables and it makes you wonder if the booking issues are down to staffing levels rather than capacity. The main buffet restaurant wasn’t great. We've been spoilt by some great all inclusive and this was just a bit ‘meh.’ We could normally find something to eat, but spent time wandering round trying to find something inspiring. Desserts same every night, poor quality ice cream etc.. Mainly pork, fish or vegetarian. GUEST SERVICES One thing you absolutely cannot fault the hotel on, is trying to make guests happy. Yes, we experienced issues, but everything we mentioned, they did their best to resolve. Anastasia greeted us at the restaurant with a beaming smile for every meal and helped with requests if you wanted to sit in a particular area. If you asked for help at reception, they tried for example gave us maps of the local area. Marios on the guest services desk ALWAYS stopped what he was doing to say hello and check things were going well. He listened and looked like he cared (even though he probably doesn’t with 6 days of the season left!) He helped us get a restaurant booking too. He is charming and smiley - just what you need to make your holiday better. I spoke to him so often, he may well cheer when our coach leaves later today! LOCAL AREA Local beaches 5 and 10 mins walk away, both lovely. Snorkelled by the rocks at the closest beach (sea was warmer than pools) and saw loads of fish. Plenty of local shops for snacks, drinks, holiday tat. Hired car from hotel reception and went to both Lindos and Rhodes. Wish we’d done this earlier in the week as they were beautiful and we didn’t allow nearly long enough to explore. St. Paul’s Bay in Lindos is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. Snorkelled there for hours. I’d definitely come to Rhodes again, maybe as an independent traveller, as it feels like there is so much more to see than we fitted in. The Greek staff are friendly and work very hard, but unfortunately it feels like they are working with cheap ingredients inside a budget brand, at the end of season run down. We would go to an Atlantica hotel again, but not as part of the ‘Holiday Village’ concept as we don’t feel it is right for what our family wants from a holiday.

Amazing holiday! So much to do with the kids and the weather was so good. Food was really good quality and the choice of restaurants was great. The highlight of the holiday was Debbie who served on the burger bar in the relax section. Her energy and customer service were unbelievable and she had everyone smiling all the time. The best toasties my daughter has ever had. Thank you sooo much Debbie. Infectious personality and a pleasure to be around 😊😊 Will definitely be coming back 💪🏼
