My husband and I stayed at this hotel the last week of August/start of September. There was a mix up with our taxi company and I noticed a Mitsis concession in the airport. I explained our dilemma to Tsampika and Magdalini on the desk who went out of their way to help. They sorted the internet on my phone so I could access my booking and went off to the Transfer hubs to try and track down our driver. Fortunately all ended well and we were on our way to the hotel after a short wait. We were greeted by some lovely ladies on reception and Mika the Reservations Manager who made us feel very welcome. Our room was spotless as were all public areas. We were B&B and everyone was encouraged to wear gloves and masks and we only saw a few who wore gloves but no mask. All hotel staff wore masks and we felt totally safe. On the day before we were due to go home I unfortunately had an accident where I hit my head in on the staircase. There was a lot of blood and I was very dazed but before my husband even finished his sentence to ask for help the Reception staff, Mika and Bell boy were on hand. They were very sympathetic, professional and caring and couldn't do enough to ensure my wellbeing was taken care of. I am very grateful for that and for the after care they offered. I could go on and on waxing lyrical about Rhodes and the Greek people we met. Everything was fabulous. If you are in any doubt about whether or not to travel, I would say' go for it' and stay at this hotel. It is worth the paperwork you need to complete to enter and leave the country and you wont regret it. My husband and I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel's Favourite
We very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location is just perfect, the hotel is nice, the rooms clean and spacious, beds super comfortable, WIFI connection was very good. We were impressed by the hospitality of the staff - everybody was so helpful, attentive and kind. For my friends birthday the whole restaurant team surprised her with a song, cake and personal best wishes. We have booked an all-inclusive option and were surprised by the variety of food - fresh and so tasteful. Incredible, but there was even a night buffet! On some evenings there was some greek live music and dancing in the bar. Although the sea is closed, we also loved to chill at the pool and have a drink from the pool bar. I would like to return to this beautiful island and stay at Mitsis. I can definitely recommend this place!

Our family, including two girls 11 & 14 stayed August 2021 for two weeks, all inclusive. The drive from the airport took around 25 minutes, along the seafront to the northern tip of the island. We were welcomed by the friendly reception staff, who were multilingual. We arrived after 10pm, so unfortunately the restaurant was closed - but there are many restaurants and mini markets close by where you could get supplies. We had two twin rooms on the second floor at the rear of the building, each with a small balcony with enough room for two chairs and a small table. There was a partial view of the building next door, and the bell tower of a historic church. You could choose a sea view room, but these cost extra. The rooms were very clean, and in a Mediterranean style, marble floors, with minimal furniture, mini fridge, safe, but quite spacious. Ample wardrobe space. Efficient and modern individually controlled air conditioning, a must for the really hot August days. The room was quiet, all in all - apart from Wednesday and Thursday nights when there was entertainment around the pool - but this stopped at 11pm, so did not affect us. The choice and variety of food was excellent. There was always something tasty to eat, lots of it, really fresh - and unlike a lot of AI venues - they did not appear to be compromising on quality. The AI soft drinks were all fine, but the cocktails were made with cheap generic ingredients, so not to my liking. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. They were well educated, and spoke many languages. They worked really hard, and took pride in their hospitality and willingness to serve. All with a happy demeanour, despite the searing heat of the summer. All staff strictly adhered to covid procedures at all times. The location of the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The beach is about 100m from the hotel, and being west facing was quite windy at this time of year. However head around the headland, near the casino, only 200m from the hotel and the beach is more more sheltered (but also busier). The beach umbrellas and two sunbeds were always €10, and you always got an official receipt. What I loved about staying in this area of the island is that you had the beach during the day - with then loads to explore in the evening, where you could soak up some of the culture. The hotel pool was perfectly big enough, for a ‘town hotel’ so somewhat cramped, but even in peak summer - it did not feel over crowded - but if you didn’t get a sunbed by 10am, you may have struggled. I would say you wouldn’t have any struggle out of the busy season. The pool area could get really warm, as it was sheltered by the surrounding buildings. The pool bar staff and lifeguard were very friendly, and kept the place tidy and equipped with beach towels. Unfortunately our daughter was diagnosed with covid on our penultimate day (preflight covid test). We do not believe we caught covid in our hotel - as the procedures were strict and well adhered too - we were just unlucky. The hotel staff handled this very efficiently and we were taken to an isolation hotel, with immediate effect. The staff we’re incredibly helpful and understanding, and did all they could to help us in this difficult time. Thankyou. I would definitely stay here again. Rhodes town has so much to offer. Quaint ancient medieval streets. Reasonably priced shops. Superb restaurants. Beautiful beaches. But above all else - such friendly and hospitable locals - who did not seem to tire of tourists - even in 35 degree heat!
