We stayed here two nights. Yes, it is a bit of a hike to the old town. In the future I would definitely take a taxi back at night. This is a good option because taxi fares are set in town and it's only 5 euros to get back and forth. Walking to old town is slightly downhill so it's...

We stayed three nights in this hotel which did not have any views and found its location difficult to fiind and far from the old city. One has to walk for twenty minutes to reach the Old Town as the buses are not easy to find. The hotel is very neat and clean and the staff helpful. We spent 2 nights at Philoxenia hotel in Rhodes town. It is a nice, clean and frendly place. The receptionists were very helpful giving maps and tips, and we had a litlle balcony looking to a green mediteranean garden. From here it is about 25mn walk to the old town, not so easy to find the first time. But if...

Had a lovely time here! The apartments were kept very clean and the beds were really comfy. The kitchen area was small but fine for lunches and breakfasts. Our balcony area was nice overlooking the front courtyard and we were never disturbed by the other apartments next to us. It's about a 15-20 min walk into town which is worthwhile...

The hotel is located in a quiet, nice neighborhood in Rhodes. It is either a 20 minute walk to the Old Town, or a 5 euro taxi. There are also frequent buses for 1 euro into the city. The staff was extremely helpful with ideas of what to do, tours, guides, beaches. Hotel was clean, minimalist but with a small...

This is a great place to stay if you prefer to be in a residential area, not in the big hotel areas. A family business with wonderful staff, friendly, helpful. They gave us great restaurant recommendations, a map with nearby mini-marts and eateries. They also arranged a rental car for a day trip with car delivered to the hotel. It's...

We stayed in the "Backyard Apartment" for three nights in June. The prices were extremely good. We enjoyed talking to Antonis. He helped us with renting a car, getting a taxi and recommended great places nearby and in the Old Town to eat. I would definitely recommend it.

I originally planned to stay 5 nights, but ended up staying 12 nights at this hotel. Adonis, the hotel proprietor, was extremely helpful and full of information about Rhodes and Greek culture. My room was perfect for a long stay, and I especially appreciated the laundry facilities on site. Near the hotel are several excellent Greek restaurants. The neighborhood itself...

We stayed at Philoxenia Hotel for 8 nights after the hotel we originally booked let us down at the last minute. Seems a bit out of the way, but not a bad walk to Rhodes old town or an easy cheap bus ride. Not much in the way of local eateries but with the kitchenette and supermarkets quite nearby we...
