At the back of the hotel there is the traditional walkway which runs along the Caldera side and leads down to Fira (or up to Imerovigli & Oia) with an amazing view to the sea, the volcano and the breathtaking Caldera. On the hotel premises, there is also a terrace which overlooks both sides of the island and you can enjoy the romantic sunsets and the unique views. Fantastic room! For a studio, my room was big. Decor was unique and exclusive to Santorini. Bonus was the spiral staircase that leads to another loft queen size bedroom like in a fairytale princess story. Well-quipped with a kitchenette and facilities.

It's a gorgeous little hotel, kept really nicely, with a family that are happy to help with anything you might need. The walk down into Fira is gorgeous, and the roof terrace is an amazing place to spend an evening.

Hello, we are planning our trip to Athens, I want to spend 3 -4 days visiting ruins and Kalambaka etc, then we want to stay in a resort 45 min from Athens for 7 night, I really want to go to Santorini, how many days do you think are enough to see the most touristic parts there in Santorini ? maybe Crete y/o Mikonos too. Thank you!!!!
We spent seven days in Santorini earlier this year and there was definitely enough to do in seven days! You have the cliffside towns of Oia & Fira with stunning sites (and sunsets!), museums, Ancient Thira, boat trips around the caldera, Pyrgos, vineyards etc. We didn't do everything in our seven days, although we did also take time to relax. Santorini is absolutely beautiful. Crete is a much bigger island (the biggest of the Greek islands), so will definitely have more than enough to fill a week's stay. Hope that helps and enjoy your trip!

I was wondering if there are any good beaches within walking distance?
We never went down to a beach. You could get down by cable car but not easily accessible otherwise. Unless you went on a donkey ....!
