+++ staff +++ very clean (I stay at $700 hotels too and this was almost as clean) ++ location ++ shaded play ground and easy to look after the kids at the pool + high traction tiling everywhere (not slippery for small kids) + grocery store in the hotel --- bad beds (ex marine jaeger and not picky) -- bad...

We (familiy of 4 with children age 3 and 12) had a nice stay at this hotel. The location is good, short walking distance from the main floor and beach, but still really quiet because of the location up the small "hill". We had quite a large appartment with 2 bedroms (room 714), only problem with this room is that...

Apart from the site maybe, which is a few minutes walk from the beach, we had a very enjoyable stay. Good food, beautiful landscape and garden, clean pool, excellent and service-minded staff. Respect to the cleaning ladies who kept the area impeccably clean. Several stray cats which the children absolutely appreciated, the grownups in our family maybe less. Free WiFi...

We just got home from 15 days of dreamy days in this lovely facility. It was our 4th visit and we loved it this time too! We, for the first time, traveled here with our two kids, 2 and 4, and it was amazing. The hotel management, who has come to be a friend for our entire family, made sure...

My girlfriend and I stayed here during our trip to Crete for a week. We were very surprised to see how great it was, since the pictures on the site doesn't quite bring justice to the hotel. The apartments are large, open, light rooms and ours had a double-bed, a kitchenette, diningtable, closet, tv, couch, a nice terrace and a...

A two-week stay, our vacation in Platanias at Troulakis fulfilled our expectations. Troulakis is a safe bet with children, both young ones and older. The trip down the hill takes just a few minutes, and both shops and the beach is close. Decent food and a nice bar by the pool. Bad wifi, totally not worth 20 euros/week.

A pleasant location a bit above the main street, up a steep hill. A stones throw from the beach and Platania's shops, restaurants and entertainment. Kitchen adequately equipped and a little supermarket at the hotel. Nice pool area with a separate pool for the smallest ones. The pool area was tidy and very well maintained. Friendly staff. An unexpected view...

Stayed for a one week getaway and I was a happy guest. For me, three very important things with a hotel is a comfortable bed, a clean room and approachable staff, all of which I found here. My hotel apartment had a spacious bathroom and a kitchenette with fridge, hot plates, toaster, electric kettle and sufficient cookware, cutlery etc. to...

On holiday with kids, good experience, clean rooms and good service. Especially the bartender lady with short hair earns five stars, she was very friendly and made great drinks! Half board was not the best possible but good still. A peaceful place and a good choice if you want to steer clear from crowded hotels.

“There are several buildings in this 'village'. We stayed in building six, which had a partial sea view, and was a bit quieter than f.ex. buildings two and three which are along the route towards the pool area, or buildings four and five which face the pool. Upper floor apartments offer more privacy than ground floor apartments, and may also be less noisy.”
