We were invited for a birthday party with tapas and exotic music with two very good good Africans musicians. Fabulous weather, nice food, exceptional atmosphere, very nice staff . I recommend this restaurant.
The view from the sea-facing bedrooms across the bay is amazing! We were so happy to see a pod of dolphins from our balcony! The team is very friendly, helpful and professional. The views from the restaurant are also spectacular. We’ll be back!
The good: Sea view, location near the ferry as well as a short walk from the city center, parking for the car, shower. The bad: No real door for bathroom. Only some sort of open sliding door which does not really close. No coffee or tea in the room. Dead mosquitos on the walls. Lots of hair on the floor. Shower floods the entire bathroom. Stains from leakage on the ceiling. Spa is only for advertising or the extra star as the spa experience is really bad. Desk people are not really friendly as they did not even bother to look if our room was clean before actual checkin time. All this for a superior room with sea view of 125,- euro. One of the worst price quality experiences I’ve had.
We didn't like anything about this hotel. Impersonal service, small room that reeked of drains with inadequate storage space, minuscule bathroom and a narrow balcony, with low plastic chairs, that was far too hot to use, even first thing in the morning. A visit to the hotel bar was equally displeasing; gin and tonics brought by the waitress had the tonic already in, which had not only drowned the gin but was totally flat! Having spent one night in discomfort, we decided to check out the following morning. We offered to pay for two nights only to be told by a grumpy man ( the manager?) that as we'd booked 7 nights online with Trip Advisor it was a contract and we had to pay the full amount!! We had no way of contacting Trip Advisor directly so had no option but to check out and pay the full amount. Having arrived home now we're going to seek advice as to whether this was indeed a legal contract.…
There are some aspects I liked about this place and some I didn't like that much. Good: The views from the sea-view rooms is stunning. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and bed was good. Not so good: Breakfast was poor (instant coffee!!). There is quite some noise from the bar.
