I took my wife for a romantic Birthday dinner to the restaurant at the Hotel. It was frankly, the best meal we have ever had. I have had dinner at the Ritz in London (3star) the Pyramide in Vienne (2star) and numerous other highly acclaimed restaurants throughout Europe, North America and Asia. This was simply the best! It would just be unnecessary superlatives to describe the meal other than of exceptional value and delight. I frequently enjoy their weekday Tapas and can heartily recommend it as an extraordinary experience. Aside for the excellent and beautifully presented culinary delights, the service is unmatched in its efficiency, charm and friendly professionalism. On the occasions I have been a guest at the Hotel or recommended it, one point cannot be understated, the…
A most delightful property. The staff looked after us very well and accommodated the use of a Creation No 11 for one of the two nights. The hotel organized canoeing on the Dordogne River and provided a well-stocked picnic basket. I learned that a few of the key staff are owners of the property which explains everything about their attitude and commitment to their clients, which was very special. It's now one of my favorites.
Staff extremely professional, couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Room (25) was comfortable and located in beautiful grounds. Wonderful big double bed. Had a meal in Bistrot on first night which was super. Waitresses made us feel very special. Gourmet menu with matching wines on second evening again top notch. Tables in garden which was a lovely setting but beware of wasps and insects at dusk. Have eaten previously (earlier in year) inside in restaurant which we found to be a 'classier' experience. Understand reason for dining on terrace as weather was very warm. Tremolat a lovely quiet French village, great place to just 'chill out'.
We stayed here for two nights. It was very expensive. We had a great time. The gardens are beautiful, the pool is gorgeous. It is cold, but it is so hot in Bordeaux that it doesn’t matter. The blow dryer in the room is not very good, the room is dark, it’s a bit “rustic” No fridge. Overall, not what you would expect for me luxury hotel, but I think the charm is supposed to be that it is a very old cottage/building, with real authentic charm. The whole grounds smell like cheese, because it has a Michelin star restaurant on site. There’s also a heavy smell of fireplace/set in the main room. Very authentic but also a bit overpowering. People are exceptionally friendly, place overall is exceptionally fancy. Quite an experience. There is no store, nowhere to go to buy food, so get…
My partner and I stayed here for one night and it was absolutely lovely. The hotel is truly gorgeous, beautiful gardens with pool and based in Trémolat - a really cute French village. The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel if you are looking for a little luxury!
