Great place with sound tunes, and the service was class particularly from Ailen. Would recommend the pink colada. Defo coming back to banana beach soon. The live music is worth checking out when it is being played. Swing is also #fun

Es el peor servicio y la peor comida que he tenido en mi vida. Y todo por un precio altísimo! Nunca lo recomendaría. Worst service and food I have ever had. In addition, super overpriced. They don’t care about the customer at all, just the money. Don’t go there.

This hotel consists of private bungalows with a really rustic, outdoorsy appeal and most importantly a beautiful beach steps from rooms. I recommend the larger private two bedroom bungalows if they're available - each unique it's own way, but both options are nice. The resort has a neat pool that opens into a beach/ocean-side restaurant with cool little sitting areas for cocktails and conversation. There was some bad weather when we arrived from a tropical depression that was nearby so we had to cut our stay short. A great thing about this place is that you are steps away from the beach, but also steps away from charming town so you can visit an amazing bakery, ice-cream parlor and market (this is a surf town so there are also a myriad of surf shops close by) We recommend getting some pizza at Amicis during your stay as well as the resort restaurant which offers a great selection off seafood. We would have loved to have stayed longer with this great staff and amazing beach! Pura Vida!

This place is a grate accomodation. The room is cozy, clean, with a beautiful arquitecture. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place has a restaurant, they cook very good, but the prices are a little hi and they dont give room service. You will love the crabs around your boungalow. Just in front the hotel´s entrance you will find a restaurant and a grocery store from israeli people, but they open around 10 am. In a walking distance you will find a supermarket if you want to buy food to prepare by yourself. The room has a kitchen outside, wich is a great idea, so you can see the crabs and nature while your eating. The beach is in front of the hotel. Is a lovely white sand beach, extended and clean. The road to reach the hotel is in bad condition, but you can reach the place by car, no 4x4 needed.

We stumbled upon Banana beach by accident as we were looking for a place to stay. We needed specific accmodations as we were traveling with another family and we each have 2 kids (So needed multiple beds in one room), along with AC, little kitchens etc. This fit the bill PERFECTLY! A few minor things here and there, like the pool being pretty filthy, a serious stray cat problem (We encountered at least 20 different cats looking for food), and a few things missing from our kitchen that were necessities. But overall, we will 100% be back as the location can't be beat. The restaurant on the beach seems like a really fun place during a busier season and it's walking distance to town. The price point was very reasonable as well.
