If you are going to Santa Teresa and are thinking about surfing, there truly is no other option than Blue Surf. The rooms are awesome. AC, electricity, big shower and comfy bed. You need nothing else because you should be outside enjoying their many shaded lounge areas, the pool or the 2 min walk to the Pacific ocean. The staff...

Blue Surf Sanctuary was all we needed to have an incredible Spring break experience. My husband was the only one with surf experience (he was in heaven!) but all of us got up by the third day. Our children (10 year old son and 7 year old daughter) had a fantastic time! Toro and Danny were incredibly patient, kind and...

I love Santa Teresa and try to go a couple of times a year. I found this small hotel located 50 meters away from the beach, nice staff, comfortable rooms. We talk a couple of surf lessons, Toro the instructor was excellent, patient and professional!

If you're looking for a tropical getaway with some adventure and a lot of relaxation, Blue Surf is just the place. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a little over a week in January and it was incredible! The bungalows are quaint and clean, with a short walk to the beach. Staff was incredibly friendly and made our stay...

I just returned home after a wonderful, week-long stay at Blue Surf Sanctuary. I traveled to Santa Teresa as part of a group to attend a wedding at a nearby property. Our travel planning started online early last year, and Kelly was so helpful to us with all of our questions and then with making our reservations. Once we were...

I spent two delightful weeks at Blue Surf Sanctuary in November surfing with Toro. What a fantastic trip! The accommodation is exactly as pictured- clean, simple and comfortable. The beach is stunning, and the waves are dependable and challenging. Yoga at Florblanca was also a highlight. I am already planning my return trip!

Kelly, owner of Blue Surf Sanctuary, has hired a top notch group of people to run Blue Surf. They are a fabulous group of people, and they take great care of the place! Blue Surf itself is precious! The cabins are built with the highest quality, and each cabana is very private, very large, and very very comfortable. Everything is...

My husband and I spent our entire honeymoon here instead of traveling around the country. We LOVED everything about Blue Surf Sanctuary and the Nicoya Peninsula! We actually traveled in January of 2015 for our honeymoon! Transportation: We hopped on a Sansa flight from San Jose and had pre-arranged a taxi with BlueSurf. The taxi drove us straight to our...

The grounds are beautiful, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the work staff is very friendly. This should be a a 5 star review. However there were a few points worth noting. First the bungalows backed up right up to the road and noise from traffic was at times hard to deal with late into the night (mind you we...
