I came down to Santa Teresa with my boyfriend and a couple of friends, we all stayed at Casa Cecilia for a week. I have no doubt that staying at Casa Cecilia made our trip exponentially more enjoyable. The location absolute perfection. You wake up on the beach, right in front of a great beach break for those who surf....

Best place for quite, relaxing and comfortable stay, just on the beach. Don & Persy make you feel at home and both cook awesome eggs for breakfast. Rooms are large with a super comfy bed. Other guests are like friends and part of a family, including some iguanas ;-) Excellent restaurants around, walking few minutes or riding a bike. A...

Been a frequent visitor to TripAdvisor but was never moved to contribute until my daughter and I stayed at Casa Cecilia last week. If Casa Cecilia itself hadn't stolen the headline it may have read, "Daughter forgoes college spring break to hang out in Costa Rica with Dad ! " Simply beautiful with the emphasis on simple. We found the...

We stayed 3 nights in the separate house (Cassandra) from the main building. Sleeps 4 comfortably and very private. The beach break is awesome and a nearby rock pile enables a quick paddle to the outer break. Beach itself in front of hotel is steep though and not appropriate for little kids. A 5 minute drive north is another flatter...

We stayed at Casa Cecilia and loved it. The hotel is right on the beach and far enough out of town to have total peace and quiet but close enough for restaurants and bars. We stayed in the upstairs Jungle room which was light, airy and plenty big enough. Breakfast is fantastic too!

Last week we stayed at Casa Cecilia for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. It was all that I wished for and more. What an amazing place. Super friendly staff and the hotel is beautifully located on the beach, but of walking distance to downtown Santa Teresa. Every morning Don brews fresh Costarican coffee which we enjoyed sitting on a...

Don, Percy and the rest of the crew are awesome. Everything is perfect. We have been here 2 times and we keep falling more and more in love with it. It's right on the beach, the sand is beautiful and the water is crystal clear and warm. 2 big thumbs up!

The location, people, food, and accommodations were beyond expectations. So nice to be on the sand yet hidden from view within the tree line and away from the dusty road along Playa Carmen. Very relaxing. For us Casa Cecilia embodied Pura Vida! Eager to return.

Long awaited return to Santa Teresa and Casa Cecilia and I was not disappointed. Don & crew have the perfect balance for a relaxing b&b with a great surf break out front. Well deserving of 5* Just wish I could visit more often......

Great place to stay. Woke to see the waves right out the front door every morning. Never slept better with the sound of them crashing only 150 meters away! The staff is tremendously friendly, helpful with local knowledge, and will paddle out with you to help with the break break-down.
