I thoroughly enjoyed the entire hotel experience, from the hotel rooms to the grounds to the staff and food.I will be returning back again in the future, this time hopefully with friends and/or family. The Surf Camp (Pura Vida Adventures) was everything I'd hoped for and then some.

2nd time in three years. I´m ready for the 3rd and more. Peaceful, lots of nature, staff ready to help. At walking distance from restaurants, and surf rentals. If possible, avoid late arrivals, because the regular staff leaves around 19:30 pm.

The hotel is great... Yoga, spa were really awesome! Down side...some plumbing issues, not able to flush toilet paper, but as we traveled in CR many places also had this problem. Food was excellent and staff super helpful.

I didn't stay at this hotel but I did spend some time here. I took a yoga class and had 2 spa treatments. The yoga was great. I went to a beginner class and the experience of having the ocean breeze and sound was very relaxing. I had a massage and a special wrap/massage/facial for $130. Natalia, my therapist was...

I stayed at Hotel Tropico Latino for 3 days in late February 2017 and had a great time. The beach is spectacular, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff went above and beyond. Kevin at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating, and was able on short notice to arrange for an ATV rental and tour of the Montezuma...

We have been upgrated to their better room on the beach front and still we think it's overprised ( the standart room was way worst-we saw it). The rooms are very old and the front picture of the hotel on the websites is actually a picture of the new beach house with a privet pool...the rest of the rooms need...

Thank you for your positive comments and I am pleased that you had a good stay overall. The hotel gave you an upgrade as a nice gesture and its to bad it did not meet your standards. We are always open to feedback and thank you for coming.

I usually travel with my family and rent a house. Not big on hotels or resorts. This place was the right choice for a solo trip. The food was absolutely fantastic. The staff as well. Yoga great. Room was standard but very much priced appropriately. I would totally recommend staying here. Surf break right out front, quiet and safe. Ask...

My daughter and I stayed at Tropico Latino last month and absolutely loved it. The entire staff couldn't be nicer, and Kevin in the office is the best. He was always there (seriously) to either help us schedule a surf lesson with a great instructor, a trip to Tortuga Island, or even unlock my room safe (when I messed up...

This was our first trip to Santa Teresa. We weren't sure where to stay and got lucky upon finding this fantastic hotel. The food was delicious at Shambala and the staff was friendly and professional! We loved the short walk down to the beach and hammocks to relax in. We rented surf boards across the street at Adrenalina. They were...

A beach front find! Great hotel, food, staff, drinks and yoga. We stayed in a bungalow and loved the beach cabanas for breakfast, lunch and tropical cocktails. Hammocks and Adirondacks on the beach make afternoon naps easy. World class surfing is directly offshore, so leave your floaties at home. We are headed back for sure, it was just what we...
