What beach gem! The location speaks for itself but what we will remember is the hospitality at its best ❤️ Francesca made our stay as breezy and enjoyable as swinging in the hammock on the beach. She booked everything via What’s App, arranged our transportation from Nosara, accommodated room extensions with the most welcome smile and attitude. Waking up to Ashtanga yoga with Christophe on the beach was truly m All of the staff from the waiters to Martin are truly here to make your stay pleasant and carefree. Looking forward to the spa services. Thank you for showing the Pura Vida love during our stay, we feel it and can’t wait to be back! Aida + Gerdy

This place was made for us. Upscale but very casual vibe. Food was awesome. The grounds were beautiful. Great beach and also located in a spot that is less people than other hotel beaches. Also the staff was very very professional.

This beachfront place was amazingly relaxing. The room's AC was quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. It had a little kitchen, but the fridge didn't cool much, and the faucet didn't work. I was frustrated, but then I forgot about it because I ended up not needing any of that stuff. The important things were there: beachfront, cleanliness and peace and quiet. The bar by the beach was beautiful, and the drinks were well crafted. I wish they had provided us with beach towels upon our arrival, so we could've enjoyed the beach more. They left us a pair of beach towels the night before we checked out. I do recommend this hotel, and I would go back if every in Santa Teresa.

Hotel was amazing! If you are looking for a romantic getaway I suggest the tent style king bed room with the ocean view. This place is also perfect for the whole family and the surf break out front is for all levels of surfing. Safe neighborhood and great service.

Our stay on Tropico Hotel was the best choice we could have hoped for, it completely made our trip. The facilities are well taken care of, all Covid protocols endorsed, walking-distance to the beach, beautiful views and sunsets. The place is secure and private, right in the middle of Playa del Carmen, so you have restaurants and shops nearby. Has everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful getaway, Spa, massage sessions, an excellent restaurant, pool and we were lucky enough to be there when a Yoga retreat was being held and participated in a meditation session (after receiving an invite from the staff), it's suffice to say it completed an already awesome experience. But the most important one and what made the difference for us was the staff, Evelyn, Francesca, Josue, Jefferson, Xiomara, Nadia just to name a few were more than accommodating, we celebrated a birthday there, had breakfast in the beach and were amazed at how elaborated and delicious the food was, the plans we had were complimented and even surprised by the teams welcoming vibe. They were always answering on time via phone and messages, this communication made our stay even easier. They seem hard working and honest, trying to get your stay to be the best one which helped us in feeling more comfortable there after all these times in-house due to Covid. This team feels like a family inviting you to their home, this adds a lot to the relaxing and positive energy atmosphere you breathe in Tropico Latino. This is the first hotel I would recommend here, definitively would come back to the glamping suite.
